I agree with you, vampiry  teenage romance doesn’t do much for me, but I always find it endearing when ppl say they came to VC from Twilight, or read Twilight after VC, and enjoyed both. To each their own!

Btw, don’t forget Vittorio. This is by Anne Rice and technically not a VC book, he has a different origin story and is not part of the VC vampire group.
