I find it funny that in the Vampire Chronicles, Armand is always perceived as being short, and that he was mistaken for a girl back in the day. He says he’s 5’7", which was the exact average for the time. He wasn’t short, everyone else in the series is just really tall.

I think it is 5′6″, at least in his book. but yeah, the average height back when wasn’t tall so either a. everyone else is just really fucking tall, b. he’s lying and he’s way shorter, or c. he’s just one of those people who is so cute he just comes off tinier than he is – which could be why in TVL Lestat is always like GOD HE’S JUST SO SMOL AND CUTE
