Speedpaint (2.5 ish hours) of Daniel from @monstersinthecosmos‘ ReverseAU where Daniel is in Venice and Armand is the reporter in IwtV. Here he is drunk in the tavern where Marius finds him. I wanted him to look at the viewer (Marius) coyly with his face already red from drinking. He’s sitting with one leg out from under the table, straddling the corner. His pinky is curled against his lips, it’s a very suggestive hand, and similarly his hand is curled over a full cup of wine. suggesting he’s about to get more wasted heh.

My references was Domenico Caprioli’s self portrait and my FC for Daniel was (shocker) River Phoenix. Ref’d some clothes and cups and wine bottles from the late 1400′s but tbh I was trying to be fast. : d
