I took care of her for two hundred years; I spoke to her even when sometimes I thought she couldn’t hear me, I washed her, I did her hair, I prepared her clothes to be changed more often than Marius ever could, to take care of her was my life. I took care of her as one would of a parent, because that’s what she was to us. Akasha was the reason, the origin, like a sleeping god.
