It was so hard to read her section. I kept telling myself, “I’m only reading this book ONCE, so I cannot skim EVEN THIS, surely there is some little tiny scrap of good to be sifted for in the story of Rose?"
NO THERE WAS NOT. And did anyone else notice that her "boyfriend”’s name is GARDNER? ONE WHO GARDENS ROSES?! Brilliant name-choosing there, AR.
