Hey! :) Are you going to continue the last drop or is it finished?

♥u♥ You’re so sweet to ask! @wicked-felina (aka Rebness) look look they want more!

(You’re the same person or another a second lovely reader, bc I saw that we recently got a comment on it over on AO3 asking for moooore, and I haven’t had a chance to log in over there and r e s p o n d like a Proper Ficwriter ought to… and I am very touched that anyone wants more…)

SO! The Last Drop is technically a few scenes that didn’t fit into the main story which was Signature Blend, so if you haven’t read that, it’s the same AU ‘verse. We have ideas for a few more chapters for the Last Drop, so if I ever break through my writer’s block *cries*, you’ll have those and more ideas that are in the works with my awesome collaborator <333

I kick my muse into gear bc the @vcsecretgifts exchange WILL BE HAPPENING and I’ll be participating!

So vampires don’t show up in film or mirrors, right? What if that applies to literally any kind of sensor. You got some 2000-year-old emissary of the night cussing out an automatic soap dispenser.

automatic doors. AUTOMATIC DOORS

Those light switches that shuts down when they sense lack of activity.

#my favorite kind of vampire#the shitty and inconvenienced one

On the other hand: Vampire burglar.

U remember like the no.1 rule about vampires right

the mirror thing is because old mirrors used to be backed with silver, but if you could come up with a different reason this would be hilarious

(the film thing comes from people not understanding why the mirror thing came about)

Actually the film thing comes from the use of silver too! Photographic film and film stock are coated in silver halide crystals mimicking the effect of a silver backed mirror. But vampires would appear in any film or photos taken with a digital camera because of the absence of silver halide.

The silver thing isn’t necessarily true or universal- the idea in some versions was that a mirror reflected the soul, and vampires have none to reflect.  But that still leaves the question of whether it works that way on film as well…
