I really liked these sketches (that are still up somewhere on my blog) but felt like they both needed some color.
These are some Tale of the Body Thief inspired doodles featuring Lestat, Louis, Jame Ragland, and (of course) Mojo. Good doggie.

Mojo is alive fucking fight me like IGNORE THE TEARS IN MY EYES AND FIGHT ME. LESTAT TURNED HIM BECAUSE LESTAT. *cries 5ever.´*
RIP MOJO THE BEST MOST LOVABLE AND COMPLETELY UNPROBLEMATIC VC CHARACTER IN THE ENTIRE SERIES *cries 5ever w/ you*

It’s funny you mention Lestat turning him bc the question was raised, when old age finally started to rear its ugly head… “What if we could heal him with-”
Louis: NO Lestat. No.
Lestat: Just an experiment to-
Louis: We’re not making a vampire dog that’s a crime against nature we have to draw the line somewhere.
Lestat: *pouts*
Louis: *glares*
Lestat: *pouts harder*
Louis: *glares harder*
Lestat: Ok confession time: I already tried to give him a few drops of blood and he was not at all interested. Repulsed really.
Louis: *ragged sigh*
Lestat: It was worth a try!
Louis: Then why were you even asking me?
Lestat: I thought he might prefer yours–
Louis: *slaps Lestat hard across the face and storms out*
Benji was a Vampire of Color too! I’m pretty sure that he’s Arabian, “Beduin,” but he’s definitely Middle Eastern/Western Asian.
Yes, there are other VoCs in the series! I was trying to only mention a few so as not to spoil that anon, who is new in the fandom and has not read all the books yet!
I should have double-checked re: Benji’s race before posting. Pardon the error 😛
But I still disapprove of his unhealthy attachment to fedoras.

How friendly of u fam!

1. Watching people and animals dance, and occasionally I have been known to join in.
2. RETAIL THERAPY (I don’t have to buy anything I mostly just like trying stuff on and my retail stamina is legendary; I can outshop pretty much anyone provided I have coffee boosters). I especially love trying on hideous things and making ppl laugh at how NOONE could make the outfit look good.
3. PHYSICAL CARDS IN THE MAIL WRITTEN BY HAND ❤ Bonus points for stickers or other decorations on the envelope. I like making and sending these, too.
4. I like the writing prompts I was getting for a hot minute there, and I am working on filling one.
5. I like crossing things off my massive To Do list. TBH I like adding things to it, too. It makes me happy to know I’m irreplaceable ❤
@vampires-in-south-park requested Lestat and Louis having a good old argument (about how it pains Lestat to see him eat dogs, maybe) and then the bottom sketches have to do with Lestat’s weird animal obsessions during Tale of the Body Thief. There is a line about him wanting to kiss screaming little monkeys so there you go.
I’ll draw is other obsession in that book later. What’s that you say? Old people, of course.
Send requests, I’m drawing everyone already in my spare time so gimme things a bit more like what you see above, oho.
You’re an amazing individual and I hope you have a great day, because you deserve it! :) Send this ask to 5-10 people to make this a #nicerinternet
Awwww thanks bunches ‘nonny!

First of all, I want to say that I love your blog! You are awesome! (•u•)/ And second, I read somewhere that IWTV is like the third or fourth highest-grossing vampire book, it is true? ( and if not, which Chronicle is the highest-grossing? )
Awww love for the blarg! *u* and merciiii, I am quite awesome. [X]

IDK if IWTV is a high-grossing vampire book, I would hope so! My guess would be its ranking in vampire book lists has changed over time. Popularity probably surged when movie!IWTV and movie!QOTD came out, when the Lestat Musical came out, when each new book comes out, etc.
If not IWTV, I wouldn’t know which is the highest-grossing, but I would bet it’s TVL, because it establishes alot of the Ricean vampire lore/rules, and that’s the one they are focusing on in the new film adaptation.

… and then it also depends on ppl’s access to the book, whether they have to sneak it bc they are 8 yr olds reading their big sister’s battered paperback, or adults listening to the audiotapes bc it was recc’d by a friend, who knows! Everyone seems to come in at different times in their lives, different ways. Very few ppl tell me they just saw it on a shelf and the cover made them want to give it a try, it’s usually someone giving it to them like a drug dealer gives you a taste of the goods to get you hooked… lol.
Anyone can reblog w/ info on this!
