I legit had a dream last night that I guess I was in the POV of Claudia. Not too sure, but I was in one of those opera-house balconies and to my side I just saw Lestat sitting with Louis on his lap and they were just whispering sweet things and smiling and Louis would jokingly and lightly smack his shoulder it was like?? Really cute but also unexpected and out of character and I guess in that dream I knew it too so I got really uncomfortable, stood up and just stepped off the balcony.

And so he ran after me all the way back to the hotel, all the way across the rooftops, where I hoped to lose him, until I leaped in the window of the parlor and turned in rage and slammed the window shut. He hit it, arms outstretched, like a bird who seeks to fly through glass, and shook the frame.

You inspired me to watch the movie with Neil Jordan’s commentary, and 10/10 would watch again just for Jordan calling Lestat a “bitchy wife”.

Anyone who hasn’t seen the movie with the commentary should definitely go dig up the DVD! It provides many excellent insights and just good banter 🙂
