I’m so glad I was the one who had to empty
the mailbox today, if my mother found this I would have to do a whole lot of
explaining. Also, the postman probably thinks I’m crazy now for receiving this.

I opened the mailbox hoping that my Ebay package had arrived. But when I looked I saw this, the flipside with
my name on it caught my eye. I never get postcards, from who could this be? I
twist it around and see this crazy picture and suddenly I remember, this is
from I-want-my-IWTV! A big smile appears on my face, I totally wasn’t expecting
this and I had already kind of forgotten about her saying that I would get
this. My fangirl feelings suddenly went through the roof. It was kinda
awesome to pretend that this card might have come from Mr. de Lioncourt himself 🙂  Thank you @i-want-my-iwtv you have made my day. The text on the back was also very fitting.

Afterwards I had to get some groceries
and I was smiling constantly while shopping just because this card was such a
nice surprise. I thought showing it with my VC books would be fitting, so I
did.

I approve of the choice of display <333 And what a nice story to add to it, I’m very pleased with your reaction ^_____^

P.S. There are alot of judgemental postal workers who’ve seen these cards, I’m sure… but maybe some were VC fans? And were jealous?!

ANYWAY you’re very welcome, and actually, I sent myself one for the same purpose… I wanted a card from them, too! *u*

Here’s that fanart by @ashetray, btw.

“Listen, keep your eyes wide,” Lestat whispered to me, his lips moving against my neck. I remember that the movement of his lips […] sent a shock of sensation through my body that was not unlike the pleasure of passion.

A dull roar at first and then a pounding like the pounding of a drum, growing louder and louder […] until it seemed to fill not just my hearing but all my senses, to be throbbing my lips and fingers, in the flesh of my temples, in my veins. Above all, in my veins […].
