this might be my favorite of all, by phemiec:
I was in NOLA once before, when I was 15 and my family was considering moving there, so I didn’t get to do much. It was before Katrina hit. Vague memories of the gorgeous townhouses that looked like little jewelry boxes along St. Charles, and the houses we considered living in were in Metairie. They were high-ceilinged, very romantic, with beds so big they had little step stools. Oddly, the master bedrooms tended to be on the 1st floor just off the main entrance, but the kids’ quarters were on the second floor. Hmmm.
Just quickly made this ‘shop of an empty Theatre des Vampires stage to illustrate that i-want-my-iwtv is on vacation. Back in a week!
