YES there are additional CUT SCENES and it is a sore subject among the fandom. And Warner Bros/Geffen doesn’t seem to be interested in releasing a 20th Anniversary edition with those scenes as extras *pouts*

I think Neil Jordan also specifically mentions some things but I haven’t watched the director commentary in a loooong time.
IT IS INDEED. But I don’t think there’s a scene in the movie where he sits on the couch in this outfit, which is why I think it’s from a cut scene, or a production still.
