Fandom isnāt just escape into a fantasy world. Fandom is letting the fantasy world supplement us, bolster us, give us hope. Fandom is drawing our friends and loved ones as close as we can, even separated by massive distance, we can at least communicate with and support eachother.

I actually got this message 3 days ago, but I was neck-deep (hehehe!) in birthday messages for Lestat, so I felt like this could be answered a little later, when the dustĀ his confetti settled.
ā¦ Little did I know that the sh*t would hit the fan so spectacularly here in the USā¦ where am I going with this, you ask? Well, in the face of such stress and anxiety and and andā¦ all the emotions one can have in this situationā¦ itās so good to know my face (figuratively and literally) is loved, fangs ān all, and Iām still needed, and by unrelentingly plowing ahead, encouraging others to make – and making my own – fanworks, it can help us all get through this.

Burnadette is a slight variation of Bernadette, French name meaning āBrave as a bear.ā I changed it to get the fire reference ;] So Louisā sister would have spelled it the normal way.
ā¦ I wonāt deny it looks good. āBernadette, Louis, and Paulā sound like they could be siblings š BTW, thatās the Jane Austen font from DaFont.
But I wouldnāt want anyone to feel left out in the sense that Iām *special* or anything, Iām glad that some names were left out of canon, so anyone can project their own names onto those characters.

[BTW: Itās āMater Fabuloso,ā a name someone suggested for me ages ago on here, and itās bc āMaterā means āMotherā in Latin. We used to refer to AR as āMater Gloriousa,ā āOur Glorious Mother.ā So itās related to that.]
The name is also featured inĀ this song, which is very upbeat butĀ if you listen to the lyrics closely the singer is basically a guy who has to have ALL OF this poor lady bc apparently sheās already so much a part of him that he needs her more than just out of love, and smacks down the competition as unworthy.Ā Itās pretty obsessive.
I liked it when I was a kid, so it has a nostalgic feel for me, and at that time, I just thought it was a guy who couldnāt help but express himself as to how madly in love he was. Obsession and madly in love, unhealthy relationshipsā¦ very VC.
