Interview illustrations : Louis and Claudia by dididouli

Here is Louis trying to protect Claudia when the theatre finally comes for them..

These are a couple of years old, I made illustrations for Interview with the Vampire and actually got an A for it (yay me). it was all made in China ink. 

I worked on these pieces like mad at the time (I had a hundred of bad sketches all around my desk) and that’s how I learned to draw freely and SEEMINGLY effortlessly with a pen and ink.

So always remember to practice practice practice and look up a lot of references and then try to copy the technique and then practice again.. it’s the only way to get better.
