In every single book, Louis has to make the “Don’t become a vampire if you can help it,” speech.

6: Gentle Peck

On the Path to Sonoma:

He’d been weeping in his sleep—even the deathsleep couldn’t keep him from having nightmares, and she’d realised as soon as she’d awakened that he was struggling against them. The effects of the deathsleep being what they were, there was no way for her to rescue him from them—he would have to ride them out until he awoke.

Twenty or so minutes later, he awoke quite suddenly with his head in her lap. He was still weeping, his face stained with blood tears, but now his eyes bespoke confusion and embarrassment. She did not release him, instead humming softly as she placed one hand on his shoulder, squeezing gently as he closed his eyes and grasped at the fabric of her coatsleeves. She leaned over him, placing an almost invisible kiss upon each eyelid, releasing him gently back to fight his monsters alone.

Hello, darling! I stumbled upon one of your Lestat gifs. A Lestat RPR on twitter used it and I jumped when I saw it. (took a screenshot of it btw) I wanted to post it but couldn’t. (Sighs)

Hey, thank u! I’m curious as to which gif they’re using. Send me a link, or their twitter name.

I’ve said on here a looooong time ago, before I had so many followers *u*, so it was probably missed: anyone is free to use my gifs, tho I would appreciate being tagged (so I can enjoy them in their new setting) and/or being credited, bc they do take some effort to make ;]

The fact is that the gifs I make from movie!IWTV itself actually belong to the copyright holders for that movie, so I don’t have much more of a right to my gifs than the twitter RPer.

However, I tend to add the “i-want-my-iwtv.tumblr” watermark when I feel like I added/mashedup something unique enough to count as partially mine, which elevates the gif to a derivative work, rather than just a copy of the source material. Like this one, which is one of my faves:

Louis still has the coat that he wore when he was with Claudia in Paris.

Can you imagine how painful it would have been, returning to the hotel room he shared with Claudia, all her clothes and accessories exactly as they were when she left it last? ;A;

ooc; Louis did actually tell David in Merrick that he returned briefly to the Hotel St. Gabriel after Claudia’s death and retrieved the little photograph she’d had taken in Paris and that he’d left everything else behind, which the Talamasca later came to rummage through.

It broke his heart returning there, I’m sure.
