dogs deserve to live forever
There’s something we have at work that really helps people going through grieving after euthanizing their dog. It says:

This is a photo of our beloved dog Tank who left this earth forever this morning We are so sad to have had to let him go and our family is diminished with his loss. Rest in peace, you dear, sweet dog; we will miss you forever.
