Heya ! I’ve always wondered about how Lestat would feel about today’s french, how would he speak ? Would he use slang or would he stick to a more polite and noble way of speaking ? (noble slang, seems like Lestat’s jam tho.)
I’m not sure about that specifically, but I think Lestat curses alot more than he lets on in the books.

Noble or not, Lestat loves learning slang and sometimes uses it incorrectly, and that can be hilarious in itself. In general, I think he does try to keep it classy, if possible.

I want a VC animated series!!! SO BAD. Bc then we could have serius moments with beautiful artwork, we could achieve scenes and effects that could be too hard to film or be too expensive, and then we could also have the sillier moments, distorted features on the characters like we can do in fanart… I feel like it would be a great medium.
What do you love most about Lestat?
My muse HAS to answer everything truthfully for one hour, starting now!It is impossible to expect me to give one definitive answer. To love in such a manner, it is not a matter of picking favorite traits.
I love his vigor. He’s not one to allow himself to become bored or secluded easily. He does not think before he acts. He simply does, and I have always envied him for being able to live in such a way.
I love his capacity to love others. Lestat sees in humanity all of the positives, of which I also cannot claim to fathom for myself. He sees beauty in all. There is no being in this world that he does not feel is important in some way.
I love the forgiveness that he is capable of giving.
I love his seductiveness, his tenderness, and even his cruelty.
I love him as a whole.

My coven gave me this illustrious title as an insult but look at me now! I SHOWED THEM. Now I’m the boss of them all. Hah!

♛I am devastatingly attractive. I wouldn’t say “fairest of them all,” but it’s one of my many burdens to bear *sigh* Armand will never know the extent of this burden, being so much less attractive.

Dear Lestat, thank you for answering my question on matters of the heart; your insight is very helpful! I do have another important question, though. Would you turn anyone into a vampire if they asked for it? Is it entirely up to you? Or are there certain rules by which you must abide? On second thought, Armand will probably suggest that I sent this message to myself but Louis knows I don’t do that. He knows I would invent a longer pseudonym, he knows I couldn’t bear to have an alias go by only one letter *smiles*
As much as I enjoy the act itself, no, I wouldn’t turn just anyone into a vampire if they asked for it. Other vampires in our coven might have a different answer, but I choose people who I can’t release to death… and the reasons for choosing them vary.
As far as rules about it, well, a few of us, myself included, have broken the no-underage people rule, but that is still one of our main guidelines about it. There’s no board approval to do it, but we all try to keep our emotions in check and not turn every sexy tattooed barista we meet, not every musician whose talent we long to preserve for eternity. I admit I have something of a taste for musicians…
You have to understand that the Dark Gift is not an exact science, as with mortal pregnancy, there’s no guarantee of a good outcome. Every time we do it there is the chance that the person will die in the process, if they lose focus, if I lose focus, if the vampiric spirit fails to adhere to theirs… if there’s not enough blood to exchange,… so many ways for it to fail, and if Louis had died that night… I don’t like to think about it. There was a good chance he was ready to choose Death over me.
And then, there are worse things than death. Nicolas seemed to be an animated corpse at first, and I could barely stand to look at his face, devoid of his own expressions, barely functioning… and then when he woke, I couldn’t celebrate that either. He was another someone I barely recognized. Was it the Blood or was it something he always had within him and kept from me? I might never know.
