I’m the vampire of my friend group, I’m pale (I once wore and light colored sweat shirt and my friend said she couldn’t tell where my sleeve ended); my dark hair adds to vampy-ness. I have dark burgundy, russet, brown eyes. Any suggestions for makeup or colors that would suit me (idk, I’m open for suggestions, help me Lestat).
//ooc; Mun is answering this for Lestat, bc he would just tell you to go after whatever you find beautiful! Nothing is off-limits. But he doesn’t comprehend time, effort, and financial limitation for mortals *pouts*

I don’t know what your budget is but you don’t need to spend a ton of money to achieve some great vampiry fashion looks. @transylvaniateaparty shops at H&M (very affordable stuff, I get nice tops there for like $12 sometimes!) and thrift stores.
Based on what you’re saying, this youtuber kittenmoustache might be a good inspiration for you.
kittenmoustache is pale, has dark hair, and a gothy aesthetic, and all their makeup tutes would probably work for your eye color!
Fashion-wise, you could look at what she’s wearing, too, for inspiration.
Other goth fashionistas for inspiration: @gothiccharmschool, @xtoxictears, @annabellioncourt.
So awhile back I had a giveaway post and STILL have not filled that giveaway bc it became a larger giveaway… Here’s the progress so far. Ya like? It will be worth the wait!
Hit the jump for more info including how the embossing works it is so cool!
As you may be aware I wanted to include postcards and so I asked @ashetray if I could use their fanart for that, which I had commissioned, so that was all good but then I wanted to add my i-want-my-iwtv flair on there somehow. Adding a gold foil logo seemed like a good idea but those are so expensive! Printers start at $400 for this fancy shit.
Manual gold embossing is much more cost effective, just get a stamp of your design (mine was $35), the embossing powder ($10 I think?), the heat gun ($25), and the embossing ink ($6, but you can use any color ink).

1. Supplies. 2. getting the embossing ink on tha stamp.

3. Embossing ink comes out almost clear. 4. Dump that embossing powder!

5. Really cover that sucker, 6. and then roll the paper so the powder collects so you can dump it back in the container bc it’s still perfectly usable.

7. The powder stuck to the ink! MAGIC. 8. BLAST THAT SUCKER W/ THE HEAT GUN.

9. BOOM. DONE. SO EASY.
“And the only consistent indication that I am not human is my fingernails. It’s the same with all vampires. Our fingernails look like glass. And some people notice that when they don’t notice anything else.” – The Vampire Lestat
Look at this clear gel nail extension effect. It could be a great vampire makeup effect.
Very vampiry glassy, looks great on light or dark skin and against light or dark backgrounds:

Has anyone tried this themselves?
