There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk about for a while, but for some reason I always push it aside.
But basically, you know the whipping scene in the vampire Armand? Marius acts all disgusted at what happens (you know, the thing) but really he was turned at forty, I’m sure he understands how the human body works….so what the fuck did he expect to happen?
Did he fucking expect It to be like “pull this for free sweets!” Fucking no.// I think it had more to do with what came after it.
Young men and boys experience sexual pleasure and even feel orgasm before they can actually ejaculate. It’s what Armand referred to when he spoke of “wet pleasure.” As in that he was too young for wet pleasure. I think that refers to ejaculation.
When Armand had his orgasm after the whipping scene, he ejaculated. That was perhaps the first time it had happened with Marius. Marius realized when he looked at it that Armand was becoming a man, and soon he – Marius – would have to make a hard decision.
At least, that was how I interpreted the scene.

You know how there’s those posts where they symbolise how each character would do something, like the Salem the cat post for the vampires? Do you have any ideas like that for how each of the characters would dance?

Can I ask everyone in the vc rp fandom a favour? I feel like this sounds really shitty of me but if anyone finds out of anyway to audition for the new vc films could you please let me know? I really really really want to at least have a go at playing Armand.
I’ll keep an eye open for you~ But it doesn’t sound shitty at all! Why shouldn’t fans become part of the production? Who would know Armand better than the people who, really, already play him in every conceivable way but in front of a camera?

Gosh anything. I think I could pull off Merrick with alot of tanning, makeup, and fitness regime… or a Theatre des Vampires member, maybe Estelle 😉 I don’t really have the physical foundation of any other main character. If we’re going for later books, I could go for Eudoxia.

And I’ve been meaning to say this for awhile so I’ll do it here… I’m learning that “fandom love” is a kind of friendship that’s unlike any other RL kind (though it can come from or lead to RL friendship). I define “fandom love” as a “subculture composed of fans characterized by a feeling of sympathy and camaraderie with others who share a common interest.” It doesn’t mean we all have to get along or communicate ALL the time, but we all participate when we can and can enjoy that interaction.
