You’re very welcome *u* It is, for the most part, a super nice fandom, as we’ve had our share of drama already (among other things, being driven underground by our own series creator in the 90’s), so we’re all pretty grateful to be able to find eachother now.

✾ – Why I chose my character
//That’s a very good question. I’d been on tumblr for some years on another blog and created my own original materials – it wasn’t a writing or fandom related blog / page.
I’d always loved Anne Rice and started reading VC when I was 11. It helped me get through a lot of things in my life and overcome a lot of emotional pain. I knew with the VC characters I’d never be alone. [VC NERDDDDDD].
After coming back home after my trip of America I was inspired again to read VC, especially after seeing New Orleans. I had my copy of Prince Lestat delivered in November last year. I ate up the entire book as fast as I could! It was disappointing in so many way but I still enjoyed it.
The story that really got to me was Antoine’s. It was a very short part of the novel, yet the ending of his story was amazing. I was jumping with joy when Armand greeted him at TG. Around this time I was looking for Interview with the Vampire memes and I came across i-want-my-iwtv. Through this page I found the fandom. I read and read and read threads for a few months. I wanted to be apart of it all. At first I thought I’d I would come on, however I talked myself out of it a few times. Until I just convinced myself that I wanted to be apart of the fandom. I picked Antoine because 1. there was no Antoine and 2. I could relate to him a lot.
My favourite character is Armand, but there were already so many talented / amazing Armands. I knew I couldn’t match them in terms of staying true to the character. I never thought I would have written so much with Antoine. I though everyone would ignore me. Everyone has been so nice!
SIDE NOTE: I’m spending 18 months on writing a novel. I hope to be published in under a year. It has nothing to do with he supernatural or vampires, but I hoped that joining the Fandom would improve my writing.

i cant accurately express how happy i am right now i had already accepted that i would never see Lestat: The Musical in its entirety because it just wasnt popular enough and if i didnt follow you i never would have found out its back online and im freaking out i once had a dream i had to privately hire all the actors to perform for me and omg omg omg omg thank you for posting and reblogging such good content im so happy

The NY production of TVL didn’t last too long on stage. I dragged my cousin to see it with me… funniest line, I think, was actually Gabrielle’s, and it had smtg to do with, “Yeah? You’ve been through Hell? Try CHILDBIRTH.”
I was told the NY version was immensely tamed down from the original production. Did they think NYers couldn’t handle teh ghey?? awesome?? Not sure, but I’ll report back on any differences I notice.
