(An ex-Lestat RPer wrote this lovely headcanon re: “What was the most arousing moment you’ve ever experienced?”  that I will share with you! Will answer the second question separately.)

“I would have to say it was the night I allowed a delightful mademoiselle to put her corset on me. How it tightened and constricted was glorious and suffocating. I looked like ‘pure sex’ according to her as she added more to my “ensemble”. By the end of it I was dressed up more like a tart than she and it was exhilarating. I let her live after that moment and frequented her regularly for those games of ours. It’s a pity she died three months later at the hands of a violent pick pocket.”

That entirely depends on the unfamiliar vampire you’re with!

There are a ton of different kinds of vampires out there but the scariest by far are probably those from I Am Legend or 30 Days of Night, they can’t be reasoned with at all and they don’t care if it’s a painful death either btw. So you are definitely gonna die if you meet them. 

Ricean vampires: Your survival/blood donation odds depend on the vampire, their hunger-level, and their style of getting blood. 

For example:

  • Lestat can take a little drink from anyone and not kill, but when he kills he aims for major evildoers (”They’re easier, and they taste better!” so says movie!Lestat), but he does slip up and kill innocents from time to time so you should still be careful.
  • Marius also goes for evildoers. Are you an evildoer? It has to be lots of evil, irredeemable evil. Not just minor evil. So don’t worry about him. 
  • Louis kills indiscriminately so if he’s hunting and he finds you, well you are SOL. Unless you can talk with him a little, if he gets to know you, he can’t kill ya ;]
  • Armand used to go for those who wanted to die already but how much of that was his inspiring that desire in them or they had been wanting it already is up for debate.
  • Daniel um, idk…. I would assume also goes for evildoers…

How do you think Claudia’s life would of been if she was found and turned as a teenager (like 16 or 17 years old) or found and turned at age 18 or 19? How different would her relationship be with Lestat and Louis? Do you think Claudia still would of try to kill Lestat? Do you think Armand would of still had his coven of vampires kill her?

Answered that mostly in my notp tag, in which annabellioncourt answered the aged-up Claudia question very well:

I’ve thought a lot on the Claudia/Louis thing, and while I don’t think an aged up Claudia would give a second thought to ravishing Louis, she’s a symbol for everything that horrifies him about himself, and I don’t think that that would exactly be grounds for amorous thoughts. Sure, he loves her and cares for her, but I think if she was an adult, it’d be a lot easier for him to see just how far mentally out there she is, how evil, how unable to understand human goodness she had grown to be.

With Lestat, I think it would be much the same.

I think Claudia still would have tried to kill Lestat, bc she was after his power, too, and disgruntled that he wouldn’t give them the answers about their origins as a species.

Armand still would have had his coven kill her (one could argue whether he orchestrated that or just went along with Santiago’s decision) because he wanted Louis all to himself, and knew that Louis would have a hard time ever separating himself from Claudia.

Your storytelling was so good that I spaced out and didnt see it coming that you’d turn David. Thats not like me. Usually im spot on with stuff like that. I knew it was like you to do it but i forgot and Im embarrassed.

♛ “Ohhh! Oh. Well…” Lestat trailed off.

“To be honest I didn’t see that coming, either.” He ran a hand through his hair, shook it, letting it fall back into his face. “I had planned to keep tormenting him with immortality until he was on his death bed begging for it.” A smile drew across his lips and then vanished.

“The fact is that David was there for me, we were bonded powerfully in that experience… my emotions were almost too much for me to bear and he was my rock through it all. There were moments when I wanted to give up, sobbing into his arms like a child. The feel of his hands on ‘my’ body felt alien. When he spurned my advances, it hurt, why not support me in that way, as well? Is that not another form of comfort? Closeness?” 

“I understand now that some of that resistance on his part was due to his performance anxiety. Also, I think he still couldn’t see me inside that body, the man that I was and offered him was still a stranger to him.” Lestat swept his fingertips across his desk, clearing a little dust absently.

“His rejection was on my mind that night when I did it to him. His kind and soothing soul wed to that already attractive body drew me like a moth to the flame. At first I internally justified just touching him. Then I justified kissing him, then just a Little Drink. By the time I’d given myself permission to do those, I just… needed more. Needed him. Needed to try to have him with me always.” 

“He has since forgiven me but I will always feel that there’s a betrayal between us that can never be healed.”

that manga panel you reblogged a while ago is from the shoujo manga “from eroica with love” and tbh dorian pretty much is a lestat and klaus is louis idk how they got away with this

I definitely see the physical resemblance and in that one page I see some character resemblance ;] 

I enjoy seeing works inspired by other works, especially works inspired by VC!

Dany&Dany started out as VC fanartists and built a manga empire on those characters, specifically L/L, recasting them as different characters but retaining similar personalities and appearances, as if they were actors.
