Louis headcanons

• loves fashion week season (new york and paris are his faves)
• his fave house will always be Dior, especially when they put out collections that have a lot of black and silks
• absolutely detests Balmain
• is soft spoken bc he knows people listen to whispers more than shouts
• learned this while raising claudia
• is surprisingly good with children even though he has to “pretend” to like them 
• secretly loves kids and cats (and madonna and lady gaga)
• goes to saturday evening mass when the sun sets early enough
• keeps a diary to help with seasonal depression (usually around the time of claudia’s death)
• fascinated by new innovations in human hygiene 
• brushes his teeth 2x a day (just with water. toothpaste makes him sick no matter how hard he tries not to swallow any)
• showers before bed 
• and goes to bed with wet hair  
• uses exclusively herbal-scented bath products
• likes to experiment with different perfumes but always smells like lilies
• everyone thinks he’s a late riser but he’s really the earliest. he just likes to take his time getting ready
• puts a lot of care into his appearance; only dressed like a hobo to piss lestat off
• always lays his outfit out the night before
• a hoe for impressionist art and bach’s piano + harpsichord compositions
