So… There are
more than 300 people following this blog, and that’s unexpected and frankly amazing!
I know I
don’t interact much, not because I don’t want to but half the time I don’t
have anthing relevant to say, or I’m too “tired” to write in English (I think my
lazy brain is born tired…!). I’m always scared to make mistakes, and
afraid to be misunderstood *even if it’s always a risk whatever type of
communication is it*, so it takes me quite a while when I write something… which
inevitably ends up weird and full of mistakes haha. It’s easier to post silly
stuff, I guess it’s for me the best way to communicate with people! Everytime
you like, or reblog, I’m really glad to know I made someone laugh. *Oh gosh,
that’s so cliché! But I swear it’s true.*
Anyway,
thank you so much! I hope you’ll continue to enjoy whatever will be posted
here.
“damnitarmand is such an incredible Armand. Their prose is rich and beautiful and they manage to capture all of the different facets of Armand’s complex and mercurial personality so well. Their writing is always such a pleasure to read.”
//YES. If you are not following them, you should fix that right the hell now. The mun is my writing soul mate so i may be a wee bit biased but this is 100% true.
Also thanks for gingerhairedimmortal to work with your idea “I need someone who can draw Armand standing in the kitchen yelling “FOR SCIENCE” and Daniel facepalming.”
And brb-being-brazilian also wanted something funny with Armand & Daniel. Hope that’s okay~

Omg wow, nice work, luthi69! I had no idea it was that many pages… (tho I do have 3,790 posts)
You deserve an award for digging through it all. I admit I do that, too, when I find someone I like I eat through their entire archive *u*
What should you do with your life? Everything! Anything! I enjoy the VC stuff YOU post, too, so keep posting VC-related posts [LIKE THIS ONE] for us ❤
You can also keep following this blog, too, I do have a healthy queue scheduled, and I end up succumbing to daily fresh posting (tho I TRY to keep it down to 10/day, for sanity).
//That’s a very good question. I’d been on tumblr for some years on another blog and created my own original materials – it wasn’t a writing or fandom related blog / page.
I’d always loved Anne Rice and started reading VC when I was 11. It helped me get through a lot of things in my life and overcome a lot of emotional pain. I knew with the VC characters I’d never be alone. [VC NERDDDDDD].
After coming back home after my trip of America I was inspired again to read VC, especially after seeing New Orleans. I had my copy of Prince Lestat delivered in November last year. I ate up the entire book as fast as I could! It was disappointing in so many way but I still enjoyed it.
The story that really got to me was Antoine’s. It was a very short part of the novel, yet the ending of his story was amazing. I was jumping with joy when Armand greeted him at TG. Around this time I was looking for Interview with the Vampire memes and I came across i-want-my-iwtv. Through this page I found the fandom. I read and read and read threads for a few months. I wanted to be apart of it all. At first I thought I’d I would come on, however I talked myself out of it a few times. Until I just convinced myself that I wanted to be apart of the fandom. I picked Antoine because 1. there was no Antoine and 2. I could relate to him a lot.
My favourite character is Armand, but there were already so many talented / amazing Armands. I knew I couldn’t match them in terms of staying true to the character. I never thought I would have written so much with Antoine. I though everyone would ignore me. Everyone has been so nice!
SIDE NOTE: I’m spending 18 months on writing a novel. I hope to be published in under a year. It has nothing to do with he supernatural or vampires, but I hoped that joining the Fandom would improve my writing.
^This is so sweet! I am so honored that my madness this blog opened the door for you. WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME.
I have to say that this one character in canon had bothered me for the longest time, just for the fact that he was never mentioned after IWTV until PL.
I used to assume he was either A) such an embarrassment to Lestat or B) that they had broken up so violently that Lestat couldn’t bear to even mention his name again.
It’s interesting to have him recognized and brought into the fold at this point. We’ll see what happens!
