Fangs do give mortals a noticeable confidence boost; every version of myself I see on the streets of New Orleans is just oozing with it. Even those masquerading in cosplay as Armand or Louis take pleasure in flaunting their fangs.
The only fangs I “make” are the ones grown naturally by my fledglings or the one custom pair that I discussed previously, which were realistic in shape but not material. Take note, I actually have six upper fangs. I don’t know why. Something to do with our appetites, perhaps. That’s all the advice I have on that.

Claudia’s here are shorter, possibly bc she was a child, but also bc Michele Burke was going for a vampire makeup in which at first the vampires looked like normal people, but w/ something slightly *off,* that they could conceal the fangs when speaking, passing for normal people, or reveal them if they chose to do so.

^Basically you want the fangs to be long enough to be visible but not interfere when you close your mouth, so they’re really more draping along the outside of the lower teeth. To get that canine point looking sharp, curving it back like a snake’s makes sense.
The IWTV fangs also involve the lateral incisor, the tooth between the front and the canine, and here it’s also kind of pointed backwards here but I think Tom’s was done straighter. It also looks like Tom had the first premolars as fangs, too, but I’m not sure. Doing the lower canine is a thing other vampire media does, often. I’m not sure if they did that for IWTV. I don’t think so since this post has Brad’s fangs for sale on eBay and it’s only the upper teeth.
I imagine straight or curved, having one or two neighboring fangs would be beneficial for gripping a struggling victim’s flesh, sharing the strain put on the canines.

Either way, you should know that I’m flexible in that regard. It depends on who I’m with, what period of my life we’re talking about, the mood, how voracious my hunger is for that person. Or persons. As desire builds, I’m willing to improvise, I’m not rigid about the manner in which I consume someone or allow them to consume me.
If one were to catalog all of my intimate encounters, it would show that I’m more often than not taking on more of a dominant role, “topping,” but I am extremely attentive to the needs of my “bottom”; my usual (and favorite!) “bottom” is what you call a “power bottom.” We’re both very demanding of each other.
The only real “rule” I try to keep is not about positions, but in delaying any serious drawing of blood until things are winding down, as it can exhaust myself or my partner(s) of the energy needed for… other absorbing actions.

I don’t know that I would call it fate that brought Louis and I together, but a similar invisible thread must have brought Brian to us as the one that brought Louis and I together.
During our more intimate moments, I’d wanted to see Brian with fangs of his own, wanted him to be able to pierce our flesh without hand-held blades (even as erotic as seeing him with an antique razor has been) or having us do it for him, but there is more consideration to be had over whether he wants the more permanent fangs. The custom fangs are fashioned of a white pearlescent metal that he can remove, but again, they are not just for show; the intention was for them to be functional and they are reinforced enough that he can truly bite, quite firmly and pleasurably. What he has are stunning and vicious training wheels *flicks fangs* We all enjoy them.
I will add here that the fangsmith who made his fangs had been very impressed with mine, and asked me, repeatedly, “Who did your work?” and refused to believe that they’re real. Finally I told him, “Magnus.”
And the fangsmith said he’d never heard of that designer. I replied very curtly: “He’s French and he’s dead.”
…Louis will answer your other question separately, about the time I had “Property of Louis”tattooed across my chest just to rile him, it was a trick that could only be done once, and his reaction far exceeded my expectations!

Also, wow, I am beyond flattered that you dug that deeply into my archive to followup on that. *hearteyes* I had asked Gairid if I could write that fic with her OC, and she’s even given me notes and encouragement for it, but like many fic ideas, it’s fallen to the backburner.
Your ask has renewed my interest in it… and maybe I’ll try to actually write it. Thank you for that!

♛Lestat here. Louis and I had a wonderful dog, which took some time for him to warm up to as he had nearly killed the poor creature the first time they met! Mojo remembered that, but having such a large heart, Mojo was able to forgive and forget.
There was a cat that made her home with us, a black cat named Harriet. Louis informed me that that was her name.* She is tolerable. I mean, she only lets Louis pet her so you can see why I’m not overly fond of her!
Animals are instinctively wary of us, it’s been a painful side effect of being what we are that dogs in particular often see us as threats and their startled owners are left flustered with apologies like “She never acts this way around strangers normally!” and that sort of thing. Dogs were a great source of solace for me in my youth and I know that Louis loved horses. I have frightened horses into compliance but it’s not the same as the caring relationship one can have with a beloved pet *sighs*
What type of pet would we like if we could have our choice? Louis has always been fond of birds, so I would say that he’d like a pair of lovebirds, or an a talking bird like an African Gray parrot. I’m sure he’d prefer I not teach it curse words, but you know that I would have to do that!
Personally I find large cats like tigers compelling and would love to have one, but I love my interior decoration more, and those two things do not mix. As much of a gentleman as Mojo was, a number of vases and statues fell to their deaths due to an accidentally wagging tail or… admittedly… our impromptu wrestling matches *grins*

Your low-key bae? He belonged to many of us, but his complete devotion to Iman was always palpable and endearing…*sigh* I visited him many times, in the eighties up to more recently. We got along very well. We did a few of his songs and a few of mine together, privately. No recording.

I told him before any of the doctors did, I could sense… that his time was limited. I wasn’t ready to lose him, we both thought he had more time to consider it.
♛ Dear anon – this is a painful question… when I reflect on my own parenting, I have to compare myself to my father. Certain things were, unfortunately, passed down. Even as I tried to be the father he couldn’t be. Interestingly, he had told me little of our family’s origins, for his own reasons, and I had to hold back alot of similar information from my “children.” In my case, however, it was for their own safety. And sanity. Never made that comparison before.
Father’s Day as we know it didn’t exist when they were alive…

Of both, it would be Nicolas. Not being what he needed. Not really understanding him. I could have. Should have done more… I should’ve told him what I was from the beginning, when it happened, I should have had those conversations that would have hurt, but would have been less than the hurt I caused him. I’ll always remember him and regret the way that went. If not for this, the later regrets might not have ever happened. And yet, if not for this, the later joys might not have happened, either. We make hard choices. It is what it is.
