Going off of someone’s ask about a Lestat AU Drunk History, what are your headcanons for what all the main vc characters are like drunk? What type of drunks are they? Just wondering lol

“If I want to sleep all day and drink all night, I’ll do it, damn you!”

– Lestat de Lioncourt

I’ve had this ask sitting here for far too long, Anon, I’m sorry for the delay on reply. Anyone is welcome to reblog/comment with mortal or vampire headcanons!

Also, @blood-of-the-rose posted the vampires as (alcoholic) drinks, you might want to check that out.

I met a photographer in New Orleans who said Anne Rice told him she started dressing flashier because Elvis came to her in a dream and told her to. God bless Anne Rice.

You can really see the before and after of Ghost-Elvis fashion advice

remark: ‘ghost on bed’ means out of breath during nightmare in Chinese. Lestat is having a nightmare.
artist note: This movie is GORGEOUS!

#CUTENESS ALERT

Finally got an oil lamp of my own as a birthday present this year, so that I can have quality Mopey Louis™ time. Much more cost-effective than candles. Seriously I can spend alot of money on candles that I shouldn’t be spending bc I need real little flickering light in my place since I can’t have a kitty cat!

^Mine’s not the same as the one Louis hurls at Lestat but oh well. Mine probably would have been more effective, if full, it has more kerosene oil capacity ;D

P.S. I made those pillows. Not very vampiry, gonna have to make some more.

I’ve begun a list of headcanons I have held for varyingly amounts of time that relate to my fic and it’s already gotten quite long.  Here’s one of my long-held and cherished Louis head canons –

Louis cannot wink. His version is to close both eyes in the slow, satisfied  manner of cats. He does not appear to realize that this is not a true wink – it delights Lestat to no end and he has never mentioned to Louis that he cannot, in fact, wink and apparently neither has anyone else.
