Orchid Mantis
Every time these come up I feel the need to reiterate what we only recently discovered about them, which is that they donât just hide and blend in to a real flower hoping prey wonât notice them, no, something about them is MORE attractive to bees and flies than an actual flower. The orchid mantis is outright pretending to be a BETTER flower and LURING insects to itself.
