My name is Audie. I’m an autistic, queer nonbinary individual living in a household where my identity is not respected and a state where I cannot legally identify as my own gender without surgery, which in turn requires giving up my privacy and bodily autonomy.

The one thing I do have control over is changing my legal name. To do this, however, I’ll need to cover some expenses. I went through LegalZoom and the fee for the adult name change package in my state is $141.

I would appreciate any help offered in taking control over this part of my life.

I’m down to $107.

My dysphoria’s been really bad this week, please help if you can at all.

I made a comic about every comment thread under any content involving a fat person existing. Ever.
This counts as my inktober #1 because I spent way more time on it than I should have.

Never not reblog

idk I just love how we Young People Today use ~improper~ punctuation/grammar in actually really defined ways to express tone without having to explicitly state tone like that’s just really fucking cool, like

no    =    “No,” she said.

no.    =    "No,” she said sharply.

No    =    “No,” she

stated

firmly.

No.    =    “No,” she snapped.

NO    =    “No!” she shouted.

noooooo    =    “No,” she moaned.

no~    =    “No,” she said with a drawn-out sing-song.

~no~    =    “No,” she drawled sarcastically.

NOOOOO    =    “No!” she screamed dramatically.

no?!    =    “No,” she said incredulously.

I’ve been calling this “typographical nuance” and I have a few more to add:

*no* = “No,” she said emphatically.

*nopes on out of here* = “No,” she said of herself in the third person, with a touch of humorous emphasis.

~*~noooo~*~ = “No,” she moaned in stylized pseudo-desperation.

#no = “No,” she added as a side comment.

“no” = “No,” she scare-quoted.

wtf are you kidding no = “No,” she said flatly. “And I can’t believe I have to say this.”

no no No No NO NO NO NO = "No,” she repeated over and over again, growing louder and more emphatic.

nooOOOO = “No,” she said, starting out quietly and turning into a scream.

*no = “Oops, I meant ‘no,’” she corrected, “Sorry for the typo in my previous message.”

I cannot express how strongly I absolutely love language and writing and communication but if anyone asks why I will be showing them this post from now on

this is great, but I got to “no no No No NO NO NO NO” and immediately started singing “mamma mia, mamma mia, mamma mia let me go”

no no no nO (no no no)= “No,” she said, sticking to the status quo

Aaaand with a little more tweaking we have our finished product in full form! 🙂

Edit: Aaand I just noticed how weird the fire looks. Dang it.

DOUBLE EDIT: Omg this keeps getting notes as much as I appreciate it ( I really do you guys are awesome <3) I really felt like I needed to replace it with the edited version where the fire doesn’t look so lame and stuff. I actually edited this forever ago and then…forgot about it :/ If anyone really wants the old version back up, I’ll do that in a separate post.

TRIPLE EDIT: I fixed the lighting once again and I feel like redrawing it but not right now. Thank you all so much for all the notes ❤

Sketches. Same characters in both pictures. Vampire NPCs from short improvised tabletop rpg.

Kaius Kärmes (’käärme’, snake) and Zarveras Säilä (saber). They became actors, it seems. Writing and performing comedic shows like political satire.

@garama I love your art and your characters. They’re wonderful and I’m thankful you share them with us 💕

OH GOSH, this looks GREAT!? I love it! I’m smiling like a dork here, I’m so happy to receive such a lovely piece of art done in a charming drawing style..! The shaded areas with textures make a sweet contrast with the smooth chestplate. I like the way you draw eyes and hair, and I’m really impressed how you were able to draw face so well from this angle (I find it really challenging myself, but you did A++ job)!
I could go through the whole pic line by line, I have to stop this before it gets out of hand…

I’m just so thankful and surprised and all jolly about this, I don’t know how to even express my gratitude in a way that you deserve THANK YOU, ASH! :・゚☆
