Hello, it’s me again. Have u ever heard of Eneagram of personality? I think Lestat is Enthusiast and Louis is Individualist. Don’t u think so? What about other vampires? What kind of personalities they have, in ur opinion?
Ummm, I’ve never heard of Enneagram of personality before! I went on Wiki for answers, and I’m still not really clear on it… but anyone is welcome to comment/reblog this post with their ideas re: the character’s alignment on it.
^Gluttony (in the Enthusiast category) would definitely be a vice for Lestat, tho.
I feel like ppl who see Louis as predominantly Melancholy (and ”Fantasizing”, on the chart), well… he is melancholy at the beginning of IWTV, and he’s always been more of an introvert than Lestat, but his revenge on the TdV, and then his rather icy breakup w/ Armand,
…and as canon progressed, I guess I see his strength and dignity such that I don’t see him as all that melancholy anymore. If anything, I see him as more of a Peacemaker, bc that is what he did for 65 years in NOLA. He wanted peace of mind so badly. And I think, over time, he found it in pursuing intrinsic goals and not looking to anyone else to validate his existence.
I have a headcanon that Lestat’s French accent comes through when he’s drunk. Just thought I should share.
He always has a slight accent, but yes, definitely more pronounced when he’s drunk! #Headcanon accepted.

Also, on that note, because I can’t remember, what about drugs taken NOT through victim blood? I know they can kind of get drunk if a victim is drunk (in IWTV somewhere) but, like, what about weed? I want the Night Island coven to collectively blaze it. I vaguely remember Louis giving a “no” to this during IWTV but I can’t think for the life of me. I couldn’t find an answer in your physiology tag. Your ask box says “ask the right questions” and these are all the wrong questions im so sorry lol

Lestat mentions it first in IWTV: “Wine…Both of them had drunk too much wine. I found myself tapping the fence posts with a stick to make a tune,” he laughed. “But I don’t like it, the dizziness. Do you like it?’ And when he looked at me I had to smile at him because the wine was working in him and he was mellow;… his face looked warm and reasonable…”
Okay whatever we know u LOVE it, Lestat.
But they can’t drink it directly from the bottle bc Ricean vampires lose alot of digestive anatomy when they’re turned. So their bodies just can’t metabolize it.
Which is pretty much the case w/ smoking, too. The other obstacle is that they don’t really aspirate. They sigh and huff and whatever for dramatic effect, but they don’t technically BREATHE. But how can they talk, then?? Well SOME air is passing through, but not the amount we mortals need.
I do think Lestat smokes cigarettes just to irritate Louis, and also to satisfy his oral fixation, his need to fidget w/ smtg, and as an excuse to carry a cool lighter around ;D
So as far as the Night Island coven collectively blazing it (this image is making me grin so hard #FANART REQUEST), they can take a victim like Rihanna here, let her do the work and look gorgeous, and then they can pass her around, respectfully. The rule is Bite-Bite-Pass ^,….,^
