I’m just wondering if you have any other drafts of the script to Interview id like to read them all and see what changed and what stayed in.

2nd draft: 4/1992 (I know I mentioned it before but for those who missed it)

Aaaaand this one is a wonderful fan-made painstakingly transcribed comparison script of what made it into the final cut of the movie vs. what was in the book vs. the script. (This person is on tumblr now and if they want me to credit them, I’ll be happy to do so, just respecting their privacy if they don’t.)

This person even has images from cut scenes like this one:

*to read*  –  I heard the Australian release of IWTV had the trial scene  –  but I’ve never been able to find actual scenes to prove this  –  *looks hopefully at my Aussie followers/friends even though most of them weren’t even born in 1994 probs*  –  anyway I wonder if the script above has anything to say about that  –  also MORE ARMAND is always something I look for  –  IWTV  –  thanks Weds  –  fu’Queue!  –

AsJiflkiilkjsdf! DON’T TEASE US LIKE THAT

Paging the Australian VC fandom. Is this true?!

‘Interview with the Vampire: 20th Anniversary Edition’

No detailed specs yet. Special Features include:

  • NEW – Lestat, Louis, and the Vampire Phenomenon: A conversation with author Anne Rice about her influence on the new wave of vampires as heroes and anti-heroes.
  • Director’s Commentary with Neil Jordan
  • In the Shadow of the Vampire
  • Introduction by Anne Rice, Neil Jordan and Antonio Banderas
  • Theatrical Trailer

20 freakin’ years and they can’t include the deleted scenes.

I’m still pissed off about the lack of deleted scenes.

I’ve heard rumors of a bootleg extended cut occasionally turning up on ebay but I have never seen it, myself.

Someone must have this alleged bootleg extended cut, share with the class whether it even exists #plzkmerciàbientôt

I assume lestat was all “make yourself look the way you’d want to for eternity!” Like he crouched everything in this over dramatic language and hoped louis would “read between the lines”

Unlike some other male vampires who didn’t have a choice or otherwise weren’t manscaped pre-Dark Gift, I think Lestat did convey to Louis to get himself all cleaned up, bc he planned to be smooching on that face for eternity ❤

Every single goth I’ve ever spoken to has the exact same sentiment and its hilarious.
