“Did you dispose of the body?”
“Did you drink some bad blood?”
“It’s close to sunrise; can I stay with you?”
“Better take off that bloody shirt. You’re attracting attention.”
“You’ve got blood on your mouth.”
“Don’t flash your fangs in public.”
“Let’s hunt together.”
“You’re immortal, not invincible. Stop being an idiot.”
“How long did it take you to get used to the fangs?”
“How old are you really?”
“Do you miss your fledgling?”
“I think there was something extra in that guy’s bloodstream.”
“You take the neck, I’ll take the wrist.”

Hey lady!

I haven’t seen any fanfic that includes the events from PL or acknowledges the events from the book, but go check out nodominion (Rose RPer), and antoineandthepiano (Antoine RPer), they both consider PL to be canon (they may have seen the fic u seek, too) 😉

Has anyone else seen fanfic that fits what duendology‘s lookin’ for? Please share w/ the whole class ^______^

nodominion:

//Thanks to the vcsecretgifts Secret Rose Exchange, I now know that June’s birth flower is the Rose. I previously had Rose’s birthday in early July, but now I’ve moved it to late June.

Now I have the headcanon that her mother didn’t really have another name for her, didn’t really think of one while she was pregnant, and the nurse suggested it in the hospital, telling her of the significance to June. Morningstar thought it was pretty enough, the baby plump with rosy cheeks. Rose, though she hates the comparisons people make with her to the flower, is just happy she wasn’t born in July. Otherwise her name might have been Larkspur.

Hi, I have a question. Can you please explain to me how your roleplay works? And what muses are? Also, I notice you use that picture of Loki smiling a lot. Is that significant? I’d just like to better understand what it all means. :)

icyxmischief:

//Sure!!! 😀

Roleplay (rp) is the assumption of a fictional character’s identity for fun. It’s like tabletop rpg only instead you write at varying levels of formality with living people who play other characters. It’s like improv acting but in written form.  IC refers to being in-character, and OOC out-of-character.  You can write in past or presence tense, in long paragraphs or short sentences, or you can utilize a simpler and more informal format:  Character: Dialogue. *action*.  Which you choose is dependent upon your comfort level and your rp partner of the moment.

“Muse” is rp lingo for the character, as you personally portray him/her/them.  “Mun” or “mundane” is rp lingo for you, the real person behind the character, controlling their actions.

I don’t know to which of my smiling Loki icons (small pictures of the character displaying different emotions) you refer, but there’s no greater meaning to using one more often than another aside liking it! :3

Is that helpful?

^This is a great little mini-explanation of RP.

THREE
TV SHOWS:
Oh, there I go. It’s so hard to
list only three, to be honest. However, on the top of the list comes Downton
Abbey –I’m absolutely fond of this tv show, mainly in spite of the precise amount
of drama and details, which so
captures my eyes and heart. It’s truly exuberant. –  Another one is North & South –This
adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell is truly wonderful, honestly. Drives me to
another epoch, something that is truly pleasant.– And now, last but not least,
comes Law and Order – The Special Victims Unit, of course. Even though I always
know who’s the killer because I’m
incredibly good at this
, it’s quite enjoyable to imagine myself as
the investigator. Or the assassin. But the first one is way more likely.

FOUR ANIMALS: Well,
first of all, I must admit that I’m completely fond of dogs, since I’ve known
myself as Lestat. Oh, you guys may
have already expected such answer. By the way, I’m also fully amazed by the Bali
Bird of Paradise. This animal is so pompous, gracious and so full of life that
I couldn’t help but fall instantly in love with it. And the melodious sounds
that it makes? Such a wonderful creature. Alright, the next one is the lynx.
Even though I don’t enjoy felines that much, such animals can be so extremely
beautiful and agile and furtive, it’s something fully charming, indeed worthy
of appreciation. Now, lastly, we have the peacock. I know, it may sound a quite
unusual, yet such animals had always captured my attention with its mysterious,
fanciful look. If I had an spirit animal, I guess it would totally be a peacock. Or perhaps I’m just being way too poetic. Who
knows? *laughs*

FIVE FOODS: Steamy coffee, recently

What was your real reason for taking me? Due to my so-called beauty? Because you were lonely? Because you thought you could use me? I loathe you.

gorgeous-fiend-blog:

For the next five questions my muse can not tell a lie.

What if it was all three put together, hm?  -long, heavy sigh-

Fine.

I took you because the very first time I caught sight of you my heart stopped, I swear it did. The emerald of your eyes held me enthralled, the depth of your despair penetrated something vital and the damage was irreversible. You may not know this, but I followed you for nights before I finally approached  you and in that time I could look upon no other.  I  became obsessed with the idea of having you, of possessing you. Still, I could not yet tell what precisely I wanted from you. Would I suck your soul down into that sweet oblivion, or would I pluck you from mortality to be forever by my side?

Even as my fangs sunk into the delectable  yielding flesh of your mortal throat,  I still did not know.  Sure, I had made up my mind to make you mine, but could I follow through with it? You were so succulent, your mind so tantalizing that  I  briefly fantasized about killing you, but the thought of it was unbearable. I needed to have you. Alive. Immortal. My lover.

So you ask why? It could not possibly be that I was irretrievably in love with you.

If you could go back and do it over, what would you do differently in terms of teaching Louis how to be a vampire?

devilsfool:

You cannot teach someone ‘how’ to be a vampire, as each experience is entirely unique and different (although I do wonder if Louis would beg to differ on this).

With Louis, I was young and impatient, eager to assuage my own loneliness with his presence, and thus I blundered terribly with him. I have to say, though… Louis could not understand that he already knew what to look for, what to see. Louis’ gentle spirit and inquisitive nature already made him a prime candidate for vampirism, and his desire to learn and know gave him all the tools he needed to experience the world around him with his new senses.

I don’t know, frankly. I fail so often that it’s become rather commonplace at this point, and to continuously go back and say, “Ah, I would have,” or “but if only this” seems utterly pointless.

In short, there is this: Louis knew what to look for, even if he didn’t realise it.

Perhaps I might have actually been honest with him in how much I loved him. Perhaps that might have changed something.
