Ah yeah! Stopped by my favourite charity shop today only to stumble upon this beaut in the section with English YA books (because vampires equal YA as we all know…) Of course I couldn’t leave it behind. I am dying at this graphic design. Amazing, incredible. (It’s The Vampire Lestat btw in case that wasn’t obvious from the wolf and Notre Dame lol)
That moment when you’re going through your Anne Rice hardbacks and discover that yes, that almost certainly is Anne Rice’s signature in the 1st edition of The Vampire Lestat that you managed to snag at a thrift store long ago. I’ll never know for sure, but they look really similar …
OH MY G-D FLUEVOG HAS COME OUT WITH A PAIR OF SHOES NAMED “THE LESTAT”. WITH BRUSHED STEEL HEELS. I NEED THEM.
::prays the 7 in men’s = 8 in women’s sizes::
You don’t understand. The depths of my COVETING for these shoes is off the charts. THEY’RE POINTY POINTY FLUEVOGS WITH A HEEL I COULD WALK IN AND THEY’RE NAMED FOR MY RIDICULOUS BRAT PRINCE.
#LESTAT LIKES THIS #I WANT THIS BC OF REASONS
NOTE: This info reblogged on his BIRTHDAY of all days nights!
@hedonistbyheart: #oh look a slightly crazy looking attractive violinist #in old-fashioned clothes #well #nicolas de lenfent #I’m stealing this for the VC fandom this timeXD #vampire chronicles
I find a vampire book in the library and of course it opens right up to Lestat.
NICE FIND.
Lestat should really be on the cover I mean like between Lestat and the Lost Boys’ David, which vampire wrote 9 books chronicling his ENTIRE life story, misadventures, and shared a unique vampire origin story? Among other things?
