Do you know if that behind the scenes photo (with the make-up team) was from the cut scene of Louis meeting Lestat in Paris? Because if it is I am even angrier that it was cut because that costume and make-up looks fabulous.

Sadly yes, I’m pretty sure that these are the only pics we have of that scene ;A;

^Not sure why he only has one lens in, maybe those light ones made it hard to see? IDK WE MAY NEVER KNOW *cries* But in the novels, it was Armand’s idea to dress Lestat up for this trial, being overly glamorous emphasizes the sharp contrast between the clothes and his physical grossness, since Lestat was always so vain about his appearance ;A;

From the script:

Happy Birthday! (I think it’s now your birthday in your time zone). I hope it’s a good one!

Thank u! It was indeed, i had aspartame poured on me for one thing… ok not really but whatever i was inspired to make this for ya and anyway i do drink a truckload of aspartame on a weekly basis so it counts.

For vc casting, how about John Noble as Magnus?

I actually did think of this connection when I saw him as Denethor in LOTR.

For starters: his whole hair and makeup was perfect in LOTR, and the acting, too!

He even sets himself on fire like Magnus!

image

BUT I imagine Magnus as being scarily skinny, more spindly. He almost seems like a spider:

“…Rather
he leaned to rest, it seemed, upon the thick stone frame of the window,
one knee bent a little towards it, the other long spindly leg sprawled
out to the other side…

his thin, gangly limbs found animation ail at once.” – TVL

Look at John Noble outside of his LOTR makeup tho:

^This looks like the ID card pic for Raglan James to me ;D

A man who, yes, has some solid weight on him because he enjoys fancy food, and not extra physical exertion, he’s older but still got a lot of life in him yet, and a kind of scheming default expression.

I’ll field this one, lovelies. Why not? I’m in an especially satisfied mood, would love to bottle it to share with you all. *slips on a robe and gets comfortable* Since that’s not an option, at least I can play one of your fun little question games…

^Okay I think that’s enough.

I think the Jaws meme is hilarious! I’m surprised more people don’t feel the same way.

IKR? Jaws is so relatable to the VC, vampires are a kind of shark, in a way. A much prettier and more intelligent landshark. “…what we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, an eating machine. It’s really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks, and that’s all.”

So I managed to do another Jaws meme for you! It is not shark-specific but I think it works ヾ(´▽`;)ゝ

@pour-some-aspartame-on-me submitted:

I was sucked into the VC obsession hellhole when I was 14. I had read Dracula and proclaimed it as one of my favourite books before I had even finished it. When I told my dad this, he recommended the strange and mystical books I had seen my parents reading as I grew up, “The Vampire Chronicles.” I could barely put IWTV down once I started it. I finished it in a week, which was the fastest I had ever read a book of that size before. My parents had the first four books as a boxset, and I thought those were the only ones in the series. Once I finished TotBT on January 22, 2012, I was really sad, and on the 24 I heard of TVA. I quickly found out there were actually 10 books. I’m still a little mad that my parents neglected to tell me because they knew there were more than four books, and didn’t tell me.
