This was so much fun.
This really was a blast and I have to thank everyone involved for finally helping me get through this movie. It was just as awful as I had always suspected it was, and yet, so much less painful bc you all were making it fun.
The takeaway messages seemed to be:
- Lestat has a serious boob fetish. Like stronger than any of us realize.
- Plot? What Plot? What do you need plot points or explanation for when you have Lessssstaaaaat?
- Pronounce his name with a lot of “s” and a lot of “a”.
- Jesse is not Bella Swan altho there are similarities in this movie version of her and that is upsetting.
- David Talbot was actually pretty hot here and deserved so much better.
- Armand was was actually worse here than in IWTV and deserved so much worse. #Defending Antonio!
- Lestat is actually the Queer of the Damned.
This would have been better with liquor, but sadly, I couldn’t drink as it was a work night and I am incapable of the Little Drink.
