This fandom had been very, very good to me. Especially considering how clumsy my rp and writing skill is. It always give me warmth and strength I need whenever or wherever I return. I enjoy rping here. And I like everyone here.
ooc; May 16, 2012 was the day I decided to make this account. I was a n00b who had just read Interview with the Vampire like two months prior, and was just reading Queen of the Damned at the time. I sucked really bad, but I met some cool people, and ended up sticking around. Three years later, here I am.
So, here we have my whole “wow three years” post. I never made a commemorative thing for hitting 1k followers either, so I just stuck that in with this. I’m not going to do a huge follow forever, since I’ve done so many of those, but I would like to just plug a few wonderful friends that have been super great.
That said, this is a giveaway post. Three people who reblog/like this will receive a promo post by me (example of my stuff here). Yours was one of the first RPs I followed here in tumblrland, and your Louis’ general sass and sense of humor definitely influenced my headcanon of him. I still enjoy your threads in ma dash (also when my Lestat is in them gdi he owes a reply i will wrestle him to the ground and force an answer!), like a fine wine, your muse has only gotten better over time.
We’ve just about used up all the shoutouts and submissions in our inbox you guys! It’d be great if everyone could take the time to send in at least one nice thing, either about how the VC has made a positive impact on you, or about one of your favorite writers/artists/cosplayers/contributors to the fandom!!
You guys!!! Our queue has completely run out!!! We desperately need more subissions and shoutouts and confessions. Please come help us spread the positivity! I know a lot of you can’t think of what to send in, so here are a few ideas:
– If you interact with someone who has never gotten a shoutout, go ahead and type one up for them! We all deserve a spotlight once in a while.
– Who is your favorite character? How do you relate to them? How have they impacted you?
– Know of someone who draws fanart, writes fanfiction, or cosplays but hasn’t been featured on our blog? Give them a shoutout and we will both follow them and reblog their work (if possible)!
– Are there any OCs that you interact with in the VC fandom? What makes them a positive addition to the fandom? Whats your favorite thing about the OC?
– Do you have any favorite roleplays? What about muses you particularly enjoy seeing interact together? Let them know that you enjoy their work!

Try to be creative with your prompts! It’ll help the person gifting to you if you throw a few ideas at them. “Louis, Lestat, and Claudia doing some fun things when she was still a kid, maybe involving flowers and spring,” tends to be more helpful than just “something with Louis, Lestat, and Claudia.”
Feel free to reblog this around, even if you can’t participate! All of the fanworks that come from these gift exchanges are truly a gift to the whole fandom.
