omg thats so cute! I always love to hear stories of how people got into this series *u*

You can thank Dante Ferretti for the gorgeous set designs. I believe he was told to make the whole feel of it “like a funeral parlor,” and he was also inspired by old prints and the surreal environments of Italian artist Giovanni Battista Piranesi.

My story is similar. I was around that age, and had to sneak it. I saw the movie on VHS tape. That meant it had to be rewound each time. And they said it would lose quality over numbers of plays! I would pause it and try to draw the beautiful characters, too.

Don’t even ask bc thankfully those drawings are LONG GONE.

[if u think watching iwtv 4 times in a weekend is too much, just imagine that I watched avengers 11 times in one day and slept for like 2 hours before watching it 3 times more.. xd]

These two dead boys watched the Avengers 16 times in one day it’s lethal ok BE CAREFUL.

Seriously that’s impressive. I gotta say, I work in NYC near one of the Avengers locations; I pass the front of Grand Central train station on a regular basis, and I always pause to look up at the station, and the MetLife building behind it bc THAT’S STARK TOWER.

Hopefully I’m not bothering you by sending this message, but I wanted to let you know that I was feeling terrible today, and seeing that you followed me actually helped cheer me up a little. Thank you. (also: bless Lestat’s magnificence)

Awwwww thank you! Feels good to run one of the fave VC tumblrs of a talented fanartist ❤ Part of why I started it was to get better images out there for fanartists’ reference and inspiration. It’s evolved into smtg else but I think it still inspires? In it’s own bizarre way?

Indeed it was the anniversary of the day of my birth, the day I arose from the foaming sea on a giant pearlescent shell, white-gardenia-scented and surrounded by the melodies of little songbirds in all my magnificence… ok maybe some of that is not entirely accurate but WHATEVER Thank u for the late happy and the lovely compliment!
