So far I have been addressed as: Santa Lestat, Lestanta, Saint Lestat, and Santa de Lioncourt. Any of those will do, whilst it is the season and I’m in my red velvet cap *winks*

Your revised wishes do heal the offense of your previous request, I am quite touched that you would choose moi for your Noche Buena festivities… although I can assure you it would be more than simply a “good” night on the eve of Christmas day *brushes the girl’s hair back from her eyes* I’m sure I needn’t explain my talent in this capacity.

Good to know I am loved more than Armand, that of course is merely sensible thinking *smirks*. Louis is too cute for MY perv imagination, too. But it works. Bless his patient little heart.

So, we were walking down Royal Street one morning and stopped to listen to this muscian Mitch playing a sweet, bluegrassy tune on his bazouki. He was really good and we listened for a couple minutes when this lovely white mule stops while the driver  Cindy points out something to her fare. Lestat the mule, though, he’s is listening to the music, really caught up in it, so the muscian Mitch smiles and changes the tune, singing a song about a mule ‘Mule Train’ to the mule Lestat who you can see  has his ears back and his eyes closed in obvious pleasure. It wasnt a long moment or anything, but it was a really good one. 🙂

Maybe  mulishmusings can name the mule (and the driver and the muscian?) for us?

Why yes, yes I can do all three. The mule is Lestat, his driver is Cindy, and the musician is Mitch and I’d lay even money that he was playing Mule Train. Lestat and Cindy work for Mid-City Carriages, she lives on the next block from me. I’ve known Mitch and his partner Stella for years now.

Thank you, darlin’! – Fixed it.  🙂  We looked for you, but you know how it is. I have  a load of mule shots, though, so keep an eye out for more naming. Mitch was wonderful…we stood there a good while listening.

BTW, my VC loveleis – there is another white mule called Claudia. I have an older pic of them pulling a carriage in tandem.

Must be one of the rare times post-assassination-attempt that Lestat and Claudia can be seen getting along *u* 

They were. My mule driver Tumblr friend sai that they are both sweet-natured and get along well which is sort of funny considering the names. I shall find the pic and post it, probably tomorrow.

sketchbook pages…. the top is all vampire chronicles! lestat, louis and armand & chibi daniel lol

the armand sketch was finished digitally & from the scene in qotd in the jet. the way daniel describes armand was very visually striking: the “funeral” dark suit, gold watch, his hair clipped short and wearing a weary but young expression. 

second page is is some random-ass doodles and louis on the right.

third is a bunch of in-progress form/shape exercises but i fucked up the page and wrote a recipe on it next to a doodle of armand i had. so armand is telling you how to make a tasty blood mary. (don’t forget 3 oz of vodka!)
