George Michael: She’s kind of my girlfriend.

Michael: Her?

Episode 2×03 “¡Amigos!”

My new pick-up line is “I will literally murder all men except you you will be my boyfriend.” Worked for Akasha.

#I can only describe what Lestat wears in this movie as the male version of Leia’s slave bikini

I would rather have watched these outtakes than the movie, tbh.

So, further to my Anne Rice booksigning post, this little lady was there, too (that’s not her mother in the pic, but that woman had a very nice set of fangs). Akasha is 2 yrs old, and SHE REALLY LIVES UP TO THE NAME. I should’ve gotten a picture with her… I made friends with her mom so maybe there will be some day… but u have to believe me that I was holding Akasha, carrying her through the streets of NY (with her parents) and she was giving me these little smooches! It was very adorable.

Anne Rice did not get to hold her, as Akasha was feeling kinda cranky after having to behave throughout the Q&A before the booksigning. Oh well! Anne’s loss. I’m sure she’s met other Akashas.

Truth: did you feel somewhat betrayed by Akasha when she chose Lestat as her prince? Would u have wanted to be her princess instead?

everlastingporcelain:

No. You see it was a different view of Akasha the one I had. I took care of her for two hundred years; I spoke to her even when sometimes I thought she couldn’t hear me, I washed her, I did her hair, I prepared her clothes to be changed more often than Marius ever could, to take care of her was my life. I took care of her as one would of a parent, because that’s what she was to us. Akasha was the reason, the origin, like a sleeping god. I loved Akasha, but I would have never accepted the honor of being her partner, because for me her partner was right beside her, and he was receiving the same care and attention from me.
