Every single one of the people in this fandom is important.  Let’s work on loving one another and supporting each other in this crazy endeavor called fandom.  We are a small group and we are passionate and with as much hell as Anne Rice puts us through, we do not need to be adding to the pain.  

Your challenge for the day is to tell someone in the fandom just how much they mean to you and how much you appreciate them.  Send a quick ask and make someone’s day.

DO THIS. 

The only division we should have is between us and the People of the Page (although we’ve proven that we can even coexist w/ them online and in RL group settings; they were amicable at the booksigning I went to in Oct ‘13).

btw, very cool url, and good advice, too.

I haven’t had inspiration for memeythings lately, so peruse my archive for that. I love it when people dig something up from months ago and enjoy it, even if they don’t reblog it. It’s not about the reblogs/likes for me, it’s about getting messages like these from you, being part of the fandom and sharing.

They would be divided according to fandom. Crossover fics would appear in all the fandoms they reference. The smut section would have red lighting (for red light districts, duh) and the fluff section would have bean bags and stuffed animals. The angst section would be between fluff and smut so you can cope as you choose. There would be divisions according to pairings. Fan art would decorate the walls. There would be special nights for readings. The computers could be used to write fic and reference the original canon. Each fandom section would be decorated according to the corresponding fandom. The staff would wear cosplays from various fandoms.

*sobs quietly because this doesn’t exist*

You have some of the best VC posts I have seen on tumblr. I can always count on you when I need something to cheer me up or give me feels. Thank you for your contribution to our small but amazing fandom. Hopefully someday we will get to know each other better but if not, know that you make a difference to me without us ever even speaking.
