I so appreciate your blog, it’s become a daily routine for me to check it. My question is: What kind of art would you (and the fandom) like to see? I mean as in which characters, scenarios and art style? Maybe a scene from the books that you like?

Awwww thank u! ❤ I love the idea of this thing being part of someone’s daily routine BC IT IS CERTAINLY PART OF MINE and someone out there ought to be as attached to it as I am #no regerts. So the feels, they are mutual *u*

So the delay in reply was bc I actually have gotten a few asks recently about fave scenes and such, and you asked me AND the fandom, so anyone is welcome to comment/reblog this post (or shoot me an Ask and maybe I’ll compile a few) and offer their own ideas for what they’d like to see in fanart.

Personally… if I were to REALLY dig deep into my soul, I would have to consider each book and pull scenes from it, and I’ve already delayed far too long in answering this, so this is a less serious list. I think what I’m asking for is some canon and/or fanfic scenes.

As for the style, personally, I prefer comic panels, crisp lines, color optional (like Alphons Mucha), but then there are great pieces in more surreal styles… And beautifully rendered works that are almost like classical paintings! So, really, any style or medium, my thirst for fanart is insatiable!

Other stuff I’d like fanart for:

  • Mortal!Armand in the caves, mortal!Armand living w/ Marius and his pack of lost boys
  • Mortal!Daniel exploring/dissecting stuff w/ Armand (BLENDERS, etc.)
  • Marius getting turned into a vampire bc that was scary.
  • Lestat goes to heaven, not impressed by God
  • Lestat goes to hell, freaks out, but not impressed by the devil, either
  • Merrick’s seduction of Louis in Merrick
  • Mona’s feminist speech in Blood Canticle  “Yeah, females do come in grown-up sizes! And I happen to be one of them, and this is not the Garden of Eden, and I am not taking off this dress!”
  • Lestat turning David in TOBT and David trying to tussle with him afterwards as if THAT was gonna happen.

^That should satisfy you for now 😉 I’ll try to think of more for another Ask.

I don’t know who this guy is, we can’t even see his whole face in the picture, but this is it. This is my Lestat. He has the hair and the mouth, but mostly the hair.  

YES, very good Lestat hair. And body and face, from what we can see. We have a mortal!Lestat, or freshly sunburned!Lestat here.

But of course we need to see more.

According to my googling this is Michał Darowski. But the bone structure doesn’t seem to match up 😦

Can anyone figure out who this is so we can see if there’s more than that gorgeous blond mane?

Cool! Yeah I would ask them myself but I’d probably have as much chance of getting a response from them as you would at this point, since it looks like they’re inactive 😛

But maybe another French speaker out there can listen to what he’s saying and figure it out based on context clues! 

I would love some Nicki/Lestat action in whatever the next adaptation we get…

When it comes to women, his words are the only thing that shows that he might have any interest. His body language, actions, tone, all contradict any infatuation he may have with a female. The only reason why he would express an interest in a female is because he loves the idea of love. However he seems genuinely more in love with himself and other male characters before he is in love with a woman.
