In no particular order, things that make me happy (sorry for not directly including fandom ppl bc on the list, just didn’t want to play favorites):

1. Butter- the color, the taste, the texture, it’s uses, it’s magical.

2. Sunlight on snow.

3. Halloween decorations.

4. My sister from another mister (she knows who she is and she is not on tumblr), we’ve been BFF for 20+ yrs!

5. Fandom! Art, fic, meta, mixes, discussion, etc. Not just my fandom, but lots of fandoms, especially Avengers, Thor, Loki, Hiddleston, Christoph Waltz, ummmm… etc.

6. Other vampire media. Not all, but alot. 

7. Animals in general but especially CATS. Older, fat ones, those are my fave. And little dogs, particularly the sausage variety. And horses. Giraffes. I’ll stop there.

8. Glassware. Handblown, or cut and cold-worked.

9. Glitter makeup, particularly when shared w/ my little 7 yr old cousin.

10. Dancers in general.

11. The 90’s. Music, fashion, culture, cinema.

12. I like watching sports played live, by people I know.

13. When ppl say that something gives them Feels.

14. New Orleans.

15. New York.

Awww thanks! I don’t usually do these but okayyyy u twisted my arm.

5 things I like about moi:

  1. My nails – they’re the envy of all the women in my family. And alot of my girl friends. 
  2. Stamina – I can be on my feet all day at art galleries, fueled only by coffee, icecream, and/or ART. 
  3. Voice – I have been told I have a euphonious voice *u*
  4. Sense of humor – well just look at my memeythings. 
  5. Taste – I like the finer things: marshmallow fluff, 90’s music, candles, a good book…

I don’t want to choose favorite followers, but anyone who follows me is welcome to do this!

So I met Santiago Stephen Rea last night after his performance in A Particle of Dread, and brought him two headshots, intending for him to choose which one he preferred to sign.

He signed both. I was very pleased.

To explain the “20 yrs” comment: I had told him I’ve been a fan of his for 20 yrs “…because of this,” and that’s when I handed him the headshots. He smiled, said, “Oh, that was so fun.” And then I asked him for a memorable story from the set. He thought for a moment, and said he couldn’t really remember anything specific except the Fred Astaire gag, and I let him explain it to me, even though WE ALREADY KNOW HOW THAT WORKED FROM THE DVD bc clearly, it was his most memorable moment.

Sorry you can’t see my face with him, but I felt like I’d asked enough of him, couldn’t ask for a selfie, too… and so you get my backside and his frontside!

PS. He liked my pen. It’s a Marvy calligraphy pen, 2.0. I almost gave it to him. It’s a great pen to use when getting autographs bc of the variable line weight.

There were too many questions so I’m only answering a few ;]

  • Names: I’d like to be known as Burnadette, Burny, or more truly, ✧*｡:*Mater Fabuloso*:・ﾟ✧
  • Gender: straight female on the outside (is that “cisgender female?” I don’t know all this newfangled terminology), maybe gay male vampire on the inside…
  • Favorite color: ALL THE COLORS. I like the swirling colors in street oil and soap bubbles omg so hardcore pastel grunge
  • One place that makes me happy: The playground in Chinatown where I take my 7 yr old cousin. They have excellent swings.   
  • How many blankets I sleep under: A teal quilt and a cool blanket that looks like a $100 bill which I snuggle into for couchpotatoing.
  • Favorite movie: Do you have to ask? Interview with the Vampire is a favorite, obviously, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best movie ever made.
  • What are you wearing right now: Red top, black jeans, my scarf w/ horses & carriages (that I got in New Orleans) is wrapped around my shoulders, winged eyeliner ;]
  • Dream Job: I’d like to be paid to run this blog full-time, find a way to allow VC fanartists and writers to be able to sell their work to eachother and to the fandom, and funnel the resources needed to make bigger VC media (graphic novel series, animated series, and/or movies). So I guess Producer. 
  • More realistically, dream job would be Rock Superstar. 
  • Okay that’s still not realistic. Owner and Creative Director of my own animation studio would be fabulous.

(I assume you mean this one) Oh really? Thanks! I guess at 19, he’s just on the other side of Louis’ age in IWTV (24), since he was 30 or 31 during filming in 1993-1994 (you know I don’t actually know exactly when they were filming, WHY SHOULD I KNOW THESE THINGS, DO YOU KNOW THEM?! j/k ;]

STILL THO: cuteness overload.

If he’s 19 in that pic, then it was taken in 1982. Before I was born. Our age gap would have definitely come between us *siiiigh*

People Off the Page: As you can see, primusdux’s Lestat and my Lestat are totes sharing the black queen crown ♛, FYI, and it’s totally okay, nothing is gonna get broken.
