Also, can we talk about how very badly I want Ashley Marie Witter to do a multi-volume illustrated version of The Vampire Lestat. I love Interview with the Vampire: Claudia’s Story.
Do you mean the ridiculous things he said? I can do that 😉 Will post that momentarily.

♛Ah, the creative blocks! They happen to us all. When I lose musical inspiration, I turn to listening to – or doing my own – variations on existing works.

I might try a song and sing it in another singer’s style. Have you ever heard of Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine? Lounge applied to any other song, preferably one in a very different genre, is almost a guarantee of comic relief, and that can be the first crack in breaking through my creative block.
Collaboration with others can help, too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been creatively stifled, I’ll call my mortal band to meet at a karaoke place and we’ll just go through our favorites, works very well.
But there are going to be times in your life where the muse won’t speak to you for no apparent reason, and other times when you can’t shut her up, ebbs and flows are normal. I hope your muse returns to you, post-haste *winks*
Thank you so much! @wicked-felina and I are so touched by the feedback we’ve been getting on it, it’s keeping us excited about it, too.

We’re both a little preoccupied with RL for NYE but should be posting more soon. Lots of notes and sections have been written, just gotta keep up the momentum on it ;D
Gotta say, when you’re reading a given chapter, we’ve actually both combed over it quite a bit; it’s not alternating between authors! We share similar headcanons and agree on a lot of things, our writing styles mesh well and we flail over eachothers ideas. She has a talent for witty dialogue, finding and moving the plot along at a good pace, and I love to set the tone with place setting, visuals, the texture of things. We’re very complementary ❤
YES. WOW. A TV series could cover a lot more ground than one movie or a trilogy/series of movies, and lock in a cast for a long period of time, lots of benefits to that medium! The way TV series seem to invite fan engagement lately is also a factor, whether it’s a negative or a positive is up to how the showrunners handle that… fanservice can be good or bad.
(I got a ton of messages like this in the past few days, catching up on them is like trying to drink from a fire hydrant and I love it, the booksigning last night actually really helped settle my thoughts on it all.)

^I feel like I’m Lestat asking ppl to scooch over to I can rejoin you all in this madness *u*
So this is relatively old news even though it was only 5 days ago that the bomb dropped on us, we’re all reacting in our own way, I’ve seen some of the posts and will be sharing/reblogging them, from what I can tell so far there’s a lot of anticipation, anxiety, support, and also disappointment and what the heck happened w/ Josh Boone?!, the main questions seem to be:
In answer to these, at the booksigning last night (11/30/16), AR had this to tell us about the new TV series:
Stay tuned to #VC News…
I’m sure you meant smtg less tasteful than this, but oh well I tried…

[X] BTW its not easy to find a pic of Bjorn Andresen smiling.

Claudia seems to be wearing the same dress in these shots. Headcanon: it’s the same night, and she cried herself to sleep in Louis’ arms after Lestat took over her piano lesson.
