Fun story time: you guys know how in TVA and B&G everyone freaked out about the speed with which Marius painted?
So, in this āPaint like Botticelliā class I joined, I didnāt tell anyone about my experience, and especially not about Vincent, because I just want to go there to paint without facing any expectations. And most of the people there are amateurs, they hardly have any previous experience with oil paint.
So, I picked a spot in the corner and started to quietly paint my portrait.
Some 4 hours later a group of wide eyed people:
HOLY SHIT WHAT HOW??? YOU CAME HERE WHEN I DID, WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU PAINTED AN ENTIRE OIL PORTRAIT, WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?????!
Iām not saying I feel like Marius, but I totally do xD I have a secret superpower :3
I wanted to draw him the way he might paint a self-portrait – a rapidly done sketch, barely touched with paint, abandoned half-way through in one of his rage fitsā¦
There must have been a time when I had an image of Santiago that was not movie!Santiago but it evaporated the very second this scene happened š So this is all you get for him š
