Hello ! First, I just want to say I absolutely love your blog. It’s amazing, I’m so glad we have you to keep the fandom alive ! What brings me here is this: I just started watching a series called Versailles (about Louis XIV’s reign) and I swear I cannot see a single scene with the guy that plays the King’s brother (Alexander Vlahos) without thinking he would make a perfect Louis. Everything matches: the depressive mood, the gayness, and his looks too ! Can I ask you your opinion ? La bise <3

Awwww thank u so much, always good to hear I’m doing well w/ this thing ;u; I’ll keep up more of the same, then!

I haven’t watched Versailles, but I have heard of it and seen bits on tumblr, and as a side note: you might be interested in this Philippe RPer: @frerenuage. And the Chevalier is RP’d by @chxvaliers.

He’s not 100% my headcanon but Alexander Vlahos – wow. So pretty.

And look, he’s doing that little demure thing that Louis does when he’s trying not to be judgmental, better to just say, “I see…” and speak w/ his glare:

This looks familiar: not the outfit and hairdo so much as the facial expression and subtitle, w/ a pleased af Lestat front and center “YISS I DRAGGED HIM HERE KICKING AND SCREAMING! I AM AMAZE MYSELF

This is also familiar, bc Louis is in fact a BAMF and he will smack a bitch:

Finally, Talk To The Hand:

my new aesthetic is louis shutting down lestat with his hand

whiningforcenturies: #talk to the hand lestat #Louis is such a woman

annabellioncourt:

Was the “talk to the hand” gesture that Louis gave Lestat around in the late 18th/early 19th century or was that just something that dates Interview with the Vampire as a  true ‘90’s movie?

Louis invented that move.

ok yeah I think it was a 90s thing, but watch carefully, Louis does that move a number of times in the movie… it’s usually ineffective tho!
