I don’t plan on ever deactivating this but it could be taken down by certain offended copyright holders, so fortunately, you need only reblog what you like best from here *u* Like any interest, it’s possible that I’ll eventually fall out of love w/ it, but I’d still leave the blog up. Unless it’s taken down by certain offended copyright holders, in which case, I would probably set up another blog explaining what happened.

I don’t take credit for all of the content here, quite alot of it is clearly not originally mine, it’s by other blogs, too. So when you love this blog, you love the others, too, and that’s what I mean when I say that messages like these fuel this blog, you make me keep hunting for the good stuff that makes up the VC drug we’re all addicted to!

Yes, Lestat is perfect ^____^ He’s got that Whatever-whatever-I-do-what-I-want thing going on (and the thing he does may be inadvisable but it’s always fun/harrowing/etc. to ride along w/ him), he’s unbearably hawt, he dresses well (tho he could wear a trash bag and we would still hurl ourselves at his feet)… basically all that and a bag of chips as we used to say in the 90s and now sounds oddly British! 

What makes him really lovable, for me, are his imperfections and the way he reacts to failure. Because he does fail quite alot. It doesn’t stop him from trying, though.

Also, I think one of the most endearing aspects about Lestat is the sense of wonder he has for others (human and non-human) and the world, and he’s open to deep philosophical discussion as much as he is intrigued by well-lit colorful bottles of shampoo. 

Rambling… ANYWAY, thank u so much for enjoying my blog and taking a moment to tell me so, I can’t say it enough that it runs on messages like yours ❤

I just wanna say I love your blog. When I first read the Chronicles a decade ago I scoured the internet for VC comedy and spent most of my time laughing at these fanged dummies and your blog reignited that fun. I feel 14 again and happy

I love that we can all laugh/cry/analyze about these guys together. I started my memeythings bc I’d seen a few like this one (which I think came out around the first movie!Twilight-era) which had the same effect on me, it brought me right back to being 14. This is still funny after all this time:

So I had a similar reaction when I found the VC fandom finally, after YEARS of searching for it. I was 11 when I read IWTV and that was back when there was a war on fanfic, so the VC fandom was all scattered and hard to find. I gave up for years.

When I started this tumblr I don’t remember there being too many VC blogs, and only a few RPers. It’s so wonderful to have watched it grow and be part of it, even better that people in other fandoms have a taste for our brand of crazy, too ❤

I’ve been scrolling down your blog for the past 4 hours and I only just realized it. It’s 4:11 a.m. and tomorrow I have work and… I don’t know how I ended up like this. P.S.: I love your blog, in case you didn’t get that before.

Its taken me for forever to find a good Vampire Chronicles sort of blog to follow that actually updates lol Im really glad you do what you do!

Not weird at all, awwww thank u! Such feels, much appreciate. Comments like yours fuel this blog. Ppl may not think so but I do crave appreciate that encouragement now and again, when I begin to feel like I should have moved on to another fandom long ago…

It’s too late for me though, I CANNOT MOVE ON. This is where I have laid my affections. We are a godforsaken fandom… from the fanfic wars to the questionable canon, but still lovable dysfunctional vampires (the main one being a gorgeous blond hamburger-brained suicidal moron), there’s a reason we call it the Vampire Crackicles.
