[Real people aren’t nearly as interesting as fictional characters, and when they are, they are equally vicious and dangerous so it’s hard for me to stay. That’s a difficult situation right there haha. Let me just be surrounded by fictional characters, then…
But the inspiration for a fictional character comes from someone somewhere. An event or even multiple events that we see and can put together to make one being and lifestory for them, so technically when we fall in love with a fictional character aren’t we falling in love with all humanity that resembles those traits?
Louis: feels sad and pissed off Armand: feels conflicted and angry but also dead inside David: feels like a goddamn hot babysitter Nicolas: can’t feel anything because he doesn’t have hands anymore Gabrielle: feels the blood of her enemies all over her Santino: feels satan in his veins Lestat: feels himself
We’ve had plenty, to be honest. I don’t think I would be able to pick just one so I’m just going to ramble a little.
I liked it when Daniel was still a mortal trying to share his hours between sleep and being with me, when I could see that he was tired but that he was doing his best to be a good company for me. I had told him that his nights were mine and so they were. He fell asleep on my shoulder countless times, nuzzling into my neck and whispering my name in his sleep, I found it to be utterly adorable and I still think about it when I need to cheer up or when I don’t have him by my side.
I liked it when he came back to me after months apart, full of passion and need, we would make passionate love for hours. I loved the way I worn him out and caused him to black out – of course I would wake him up shortly after, the nights were mine and he could sleep by day.
Taking him to the couch, holding his hand, placing tender kisses to his soft skin just because I could. No words, no deep, hidden intentions, just my affection towards him, just the need to have him beside me and to show him that I cared and that I loved him.
I like it when he puts his books down to talk to me, or when we go on walks and talk about the world and forget about the time – what leads us to being close to being caught by the sunset, but we always make it home safely.
Our first kiss after he left Marius’ care and came back to me, the first hug, when I touched his hair and felt his scent. The times when we can communicate through nothing but our eyes, since we can’t use the mind gift on one another. The way he understands me.
I might be getting a little emotional here so I’m going to end the prose, it’s enough.
v-is-for-vampire:She is absolutely precious and so is the mun, seriously, don’t even get me started on this. We exchange messages ooc daily, freaking out about Armand and Daniel, we send each other songs, pictures and fanart and we create headcanons together and start 32847297842 different amazing threads (so many good plots, so many) because apparently we can’t get enough of the ship. She’s funny and her Daniel is amazing, I just have so much fun with them and gosh, when she brings in the angst I can barely breathe. I love you, Satan. You’re amazing.
vagabonddaniel: Alright, you want to know a characteristic I cherish about them? Such a spot on Daniel. The things they write are canon worthy and I feel like they get Daniel like no one else, and as if it wasn’t enough they have an awesome grasp on Armand’s character as well and it causes me to be speechless every time I read a response to a meme or an ask that requires deep thoughts or flashbacks (and believe me, I’m hard to impress). I just love their writing and I might not know the mun very well but she is funny as fuck.
madness-waits-out-there: This is where my ship gets intense, every thread we have is so full of beautiful descriptions and feelings and I absolutely love it, with this Daniel I get, at the same time, the fluff and the violence in the characters relationship… it’s really vicious just like it is supposed to be and I love writing with them. Also, Daniel’s stubborn and bold side is shown and I deeply appreciate that! Ily darling.
molloy-reporterboy We haven’t interacted much but every time we do it in the small threads it makes me laugh, their Daniel is funny and childish and my gosh it drives Armand insane. I’d like to see more of them, though… maybe in the close future. xx
