The thing about VC fanfic is that we still have to be sort of careful about sharing it bc of reasons. Even so, I feel compelled to give you something. And again, I try not to play favorites *sigh* but in the case of fanfic, I can be a little more lenient and rec a few things out ^_____^ The following content is slightly revised from how I answered an Ask seeking fanfic awhile back.
I have to recc my own stuff first (which is mostly L/L) on AO3 under Burnadette_dpdL. De Motu Cordis
has one of the highest hit counts. L/L lovey fluff *blushes* so maybe start there, but A Precious Material is probably one of my own faves.
Archive of Our Own (aka AO3) has a mission statement about protecting fanworks from copyright infringement arguments, so I feel pretty safe recc’ing stuff that’s on there but dL anything you like, just in case, bc authors also sometimes remove their works w/o warning.

- Carriage Ride was a collab I did w/ 3 other authors, and is very short but sweet L/L.
- Gulfport: A British Petroleum Fanfic (Part One) by hw_campbell_jnr – There are 2 parts and it’s incomplete but this is devastatingly beautiful long!fic. Hipster modern Lestat and Louis, both going by pseudonyms, politics woven in, it’s just too good. It annoys me how good it is. I am annoyed. I would be less annoyed if it were COMPLETED *forcibly nudges the author*
- The Grim Brothers by Rebness – incomplete but it’s a fun little werewolf AU! I hope the author picks it up again someday *forcibly nudges the author*
- The Sexting Caper by Gairid – because sexting!
- The Haunting by Gairid – A haunted object.
- Gairid also has some excellent long!fics and collaborations with Leshanthat are worth checking out, too many to list here.
- One Night in New Orleans by iskra667 – L/L dubcon angst, fluff, I just really enjoy it.

We’re back now, for the time being. He’s sitting beside me now rolling his eyes at your comment, but I’m defending you! His hair is absolutely – positively – amazingly beautiful, although not as gorgeous as mine, of course. Mine is more of an experience than a simple physical material.
You know, now that I’m reflecting on it, his hair looks most sexy when it’s wet, either damp from the misty rain we get in New Orleans, or when it’s made almost liquid in some secluded pool rigged with lighting under the surface. He likes to swim under water, and when his head rises above the surface, the way his hair sweeps forward around his neck… it’s almost as if it moves under his command, as part of his own personal brand of witchcraft. Very sexy when it’s sticking in vein-shapes to his flesh from bloodsweat… *flicks at his fang* Now you’ve got me drooling. How embarrassing…
*Adjusts position, wipes at his chin, composes himself* Of course he lets me brush his hair! Louis prefers a wide-toothed comb or finger-combing. He dislikes the chemical fragrances of your usual modern haircare products, but every so often I earn the reward of sharing a steaming hot bath in which I am permitted to lather his hair up with organic shampoo and conditioner. Lately, he prefers these almond or mint scented.
I tend not to brush my hair often, as it separates the twists, but I do love to have it pulled when we are engaged in that special kind of heated debate… And fortunately for me, he loves to pull it.

I think she wanted to see for herself that it didn’t work bc she argued with him about like EVERYTHING whether his dick works is just one topic among MANY.
So what do the VC vampires do for Thanksgiving and Christmas?

They gather together and be sociable! There’s an ugly sweater contest, just to irritate Lestat (it really does!). Daniel usually wins bc he is willing to spend hours hunting second-hand stores to find the VERY WORST, and most authentic, tacky holiday sweaters. In fact Louis lets him choose. Without fail, Lestat has to rush Louis home to tear off such an abomination.
#Your headcanon may vary on this, but Thanksgiving, being an American holiday, is probably ignored by most of the coven. Lestat has thrown feasts for small groups of gangsters bad guys, however, just to really enjoy drenching them in the finest alcohol so he can sample whatever’s in fashion. Sometimes Armand, Daniel, Marius, or others, join him in this.
Marius, too, throws feasts for mortals, but when he’s hosting, they’re as safe from him as the most of the Palazzo boys were; he loves the chance to argue things like politics and the current trends in cinema with collegiate people.
Xmas, too, may not be celebrated by all the vampires since most are secular in their beliefs, but they all like to do some measure of decorating for it. Lestat goes all out, with the biggest tree he can fit in the Rue Royale, layering it with ornaments and tons of tinsel (the poor cleaning crew are still finding bits of it 6 months later), and Louis has become very enamored with LED string lights. The fountain and plants in the courtyard is thoroughly threaded with lights in several pastel colors by December 1.
There was one year that Lestat felt required to top the tree with a most unusual ornament…
SO WE (by “we” I mean Lestat and I, hehehe)(or maybe the royal “we”) SAW CRIMSON PEAK AND WE HAVE THOUGHTS ABOUT IT. He had more humorous thoughts than I did. Worthy thoughts shall be transcribed and posted tonight, hopefully.
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it. So that’s one thing we got.

I enjoy seeing works inspired by other works, especially works inspired by VC!
Dany&Dany started out as VC fanartists and built a manga empire on those characters, specifically L/L, recasting them as different characters but retaining similar personalities and appearances, as if they were actors.
