Hello! Without any spoilers, what can you tell me about The Wolf Gift series? Have you read it? I haven’t yet and I’m curious (and desperately craving some beautiful Anne Rice writing). Also your blog is amazing, so thanks! :’) ~hugs~

Very easy to tell you what I know w/o any spoilers bc I… didn’t read it! I’m not a huge werewolf fan, sadly. It depends on the type of werewolf, the era, so many factors (par example, I like this one, I loved Jack Nicholson in Wolf, and I loved the werewolves in What We Do in the Shadows). 

I intend to read it, someday, but for now, from what I’ve heard about it, my gut reaction is this:

well, let me think. Santa Armand. Apparently coming only to the very naughty adults. He is not about to punish them, however, he might bring a whip. Just sayin. 😉

Here is an incomplete list of what’s in his bag:

few fat rolls of $100 bills and some checks

a blender

5 different digital cameras

Broadway and opera tickets for next season, best seats

plane tickets to random places all over the world

a set of keys. Probably some luxurious apartment. Or a space ship. Who knows. Not me.

Some famous painting. Probably stolen

a few large diamonds, no big deal

there might be a dead body there (or two) but that shouldn’t concern you

Santa Armand has great gift ideas for everyone on your list ;]

And…. Lestaaaaat ♪♫…. this year you will be Santa Lestat, again? May I ask you for some presents for me and my friends? Can I sit in your lap? :3

Hello! I can’t recall reading any werewolf books (only Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn which doesn’t count (its great, but readers know what i mean) and Angela Carter). They’re still my favorite beast. Any novel recommendations? Please and Ty!

If you’re unfamiliar with this exchange, this is the second annual virtual Secret Santa gift exchange for the entire Vampire Chronicles fandom.  It works just like your ordinary Secret Santa, where each person is assigned someone they must gift to and remain anonymous towards until the final day of the exchange.  The difference is, this exchange is entirely virtual, and thus requires no sharing of any physical addresses.  All of the “gifts” are fanworks, be it writing, art, graphics, fanmixes, etc.
