Apparently I need to watch Galavant bc the images and gifs I see of King Richard are so perf as the Marquis de Lioncourt, aka Valere de Lioncourt (as named in a ~top sekrit~ fanfic). He has to be handsome, of course, and have a sense of humor, and a biting wit, a mean edge. The tree does not grow far from the apple, as they say.

Can I just add: the way Lestat tilts his head in that second gif, #he’s so curious, #catlike, #absorbing the whole experience, #being in a moving car, #delicious pulse of a fresh victim burning in his hand, #all served up and waiting, #like Holy Communion, #Daniel might be one of Lestat’s first human kills since reviving himself, #all those years spent healing mind and body reading comic books, #living vicariously through Sam Spade, #eating rats and alley cats in a filthy hovel, #which is normally repulsive to him on so many levels, #wearing an old moldy blanket, #rejected by Louis, #utterly alone, #hiding from all the evolving world and scary new technology #and now he’s IN IT, #he heard Louis’ voice from the street and followed, #lurked anxiously outside, #bc even in San Francisco a wraith like him could arouse suspicion, #picked the license plate number out of Daniel’s mind, #got into the backseat and waited in his car, #waited in the dark as Daniel tossed his leather jacket on him, #waited hungrily, #lips too dry to even close properly, #and now he’s ready to leap into the next big adventure, #… #just needs a good meal first.

The suit I made for iasg to wear in the fashion show fits my little sister!
Earlier this week she asked me what she should be for Halloween and I said “Lestat!” She hasn’t even seen Interview With The Vampire, but she likes the suit and has wavy blonde hair, so she’s going as Lestat.
(I know it doesn’t look exactly like what he wore in the movies, but it’s the right era and quite close to his colour scheme. Pretty darn good for something I already had in my closet!)
I had forgotten about this but she didn’t end up wearing it on Halloween. Said it wasn’t comfortable enough to wear for that many hours.
She may not know him but she’s got the posing right *u*
