Signature and Ireland’s renowned Field Day Theatre Company are thrilled to present the U.S. premiere of 1996-97 Playwright-in-Residence Sam Shepard’s A Particle of Dread. This dark, fragmented, modern-day take on Oedipus Rex premiered in Derry, Ireland and features Academy Award-nominee Stephen Rea in the canonical central role, alongside a cast of actors from both sides of the Atlantic.

I have tickets to see this play on 1/3/15 here in NY! Considering printing this headshot of him as Santiago for him to sign afterwards… what do you think, would he be flattered or go for my small intestine for fresh goggles?

The Queen of Shadows has been silent for too long; her powers have regrown and her subjects move to shift the balance. Few stand against her, and those that do aren’t exactly hero material.
