I’m super picky about the comics/memes I make so that means alot when they are well-received ^u^ Like I don’t want to just drown y’all in this stuff and the idea has to be funny enough to be worth the effort, too. Even with good text, gotta find the right expressions and all that, too.Â

I started following you here on tumblr a few years ago because I enjoyed what you reblogged, but what’s kept me following are your replies to asks, so kind and thoughtful, it’s clear that your advice comes from a lifetime of experience, a sense of dignity, and a generous disposition.

A Nicolas lover, hm? YOU ARE JUST IN TIME for my latest VC casting choice for him, and other ppl might not agree but whatever: Benedict Samuel was so great in The Walking Dead mid-season premiere this past wknd, he’s so Nicki!

He has everything I’m looking for in a Nicolas: the right age, brooding, sassyness, vulnerability, big loving eyes, cruel and sweet humor, and he can phase between all these so quickly. The acting seems to come from a deep understanding of his character’s motivations and emotional turbulence, waves overlapping the emotional palette.Â
Which can’t all be captured in one gif, especially from the limited gif options out there. So here’s one in which he’s obviously holding back from doing smtg, holding back the cynical comment that could destroy a room, hiding his vast darkness from whoever’s in a 5 mile radius. Getting dressed to go against his will present the Marquis’ son w/ new boots and the red velvet cloak as payment for ridding their town of the wolf pack that was threatening everyone.
This shot below is from The Walking Dead, but it also looks like that one time Lestat used telekinesis on Nicki in TVL, slamming him into the wall with an invisible fist, neither of them knowing what he’d done, or how it happened, in their old dressing room at Renaud’s, soon to be the Theatre des Vampires.
The only real question is, can he play violin? Can he learn?

Louis spends many pleasurable evenings reclining on a plush couch at the Rue Royale, with Lestat’s arm wrapped around his shoulders, a comfy blanket over them both, reading together with their favorite music on, or bingewatching something like Peaky Blinders… we all know Lestat can’t sit perfectly still for very long, so you know he’s petting Louis with his free hand, maybe rearranging the pillows around them, you know… cuddly fidgeting *u*
Louis’ default expression was never a full smile, but it’s closer to a smile now than it ever was in the past. He has the Mona Lisa partial-smile nailed down, and it’s natural. He’s visited Hell and been brought back, found Earth much more pleasant in comparison. He’s got his angel, and they can communicate now in a way that was impossible before. There’s still friction, but any healthy relationship has that and they’re both so in tune with each other that they can diagnose an issue before it spirals too far out of control, “Wait. Are you saying that because you mean it, or are you cranky because you’re hungry?”They’re huge toddlers and it’s usually that.
Who in this world is super smiley all day everyday kind of happy? But yes, Louis is as close to everyday kind of happy that he’s ever been ❤
But also, picture Lestat saying this to Louis as they’re cuddled up together:
Lestat: “Everything about you makes me happy!”
Louis: *smiles* “That’s so sweet of you.”
Lestat: “Everything except when you burn my stuff,”
Louis: “…”
Lestat: “…and when you cut your hair, and wear ragged clothes, when you lie about me to the press, and when you try to kill me, for whatever reason, and when you date my arch-nemesis-”
