Alright…*nod* I can see Gerard way as Armand. I’ll bite.

@allthe-lace-and-velvet submitted:
Contest by kir-tat on dA. A Sailor Moon fanart of the character Zoisite/Zoycite I thought you might like to “steal” for the VC fandom 😉

I don’t think it gets more specific than that in canon, but you know Lestat would be throwing a massive hissy fit about it every other book if Louis was taller than him bc ‘Stat is the biggest baby about height.
Generally, height doesn’t matter much when you’re horizontal ❤

Oh yes, I have heard of Kamijo! He is a huge VC fan.

[X] Kamijo is an A+ cosplayer ^_____^
@nocturneprince-blog informed us about a year ago that:
the Louis concept album is about the french revolution, according to kamijo’s interviews. it’s not about ITWV’s Louis. Idk the lyrics because I don’t speak japanese but the interviews def. have him saying it’s meant to be the monarch, not the vampire.
HOWEVER, Kamijo has said that he’s a huge fan of Lestat. IMO if you watch Versailles “Ascendead Master” PV you can really see the Anne Rice influence! Kamijo is to blame for my vampire chronicles obsession. XD
Very few of Kamijo’s lyrics are about sex (or if they are, they are subtle), but like, I’d say a good 50% of them, in both his solo work and with Versailles are about VAMPIRES. IMO I’d cast him as Lestat. I don’t even care that he can’t speak english.

^that last link has some Kamijo lyrics and this is very Lestat: “To the one who thirsts for the noble blood of royalty…”
♛Merci beaucoup, ten kisses! I accept them all under the condition that nine are different types, and the tenth is the kiss I must have a repeat experience of.

((ooc; sorry this is super late, and not sure if it was meant for mun or muse, but he jumped on the response sooo… but thank u! Much appreciate))
Yes they do!
Don’t gamble on anything with Louis. Even sports. He keeps up w/ stats, but more importantly, he can size up a team pretty quickly and estimate their odds with a lot of accuracy.
He also loves Drew Brees from the Saints bc of course he does… (oooh I get to dig an oldie up from the archive, I made this for @gairid ages ago!)

Lestat cannot be trusted to go to a live game bc he “encourages” streakers, and can be really embarrassing on the Kiss Cam. Daniel will never forget the game he went to with Lestat in which Lestat sloppily made out with him for the longest 6 seconds of his unlife on the Kiss Cam, for no other reason than because ‘Stat knew Armand was watching the game at home.
Lestat also, of course, loves beach volleyball bc of obvious reasons. Louis secretly agrees and would never admit it, but Louis loves a good rack.
Armand is into the more graceful kinds of athletics like ice skating and tennis. He skates himself, and sometimes rents out a rink and has a vampires-only skate party where he choreographs elaborate performances.
Marius likes watching diving and swimming competitions. Something about the sleekness of the athletes touches his soul.
♛What’s this "would be" nonsense, ma chérie? What about IS?

Well alright, in all honesty, I don’t need to be the best, and sexiest, playboy ever. I did take a… sabbatical… for a good chunk of time during the 20th century. All I really require is to be seen as ONE of the best, and sexiest, playboys ever. *smiles widely*
Louis is in fact capable of smiling, you know!
@vampchronfic would back me up on this: So I want to say Yes. Louis spends many pleasurable evenings reclining on a plush couch at the Rue Royale, with Lestat’s arm wrapped around his shoulders, a comfy blanket over them both, reading together with their favorite music on, or bingewatching something like Peaky Blinders… we all know Lestat can’t sit perfectly still for very long, so you know he’s petting Louis with his free hand, maybe rearranging the pillows around them, you know… cuddly fidgeting *u*

Louis’ default expression was never a full smile, but it’s closer to a smile now than it ever was in the past. He has the Mona Lisa partial-smile nailed down, and it’s natural. He’s visited Hell and been brought back, found Earth much more pleasant in comparison. He’s got his angel, and they can communicate now in a way that was impossible before. There’s still friction, but any healthy relationship has that and they’re both so in tune with each other that they can diagnose an issue before it spirals too far out of control, “Wait. Are you saying that because you mean it, or are you cranky because you’re hungry?” They’re huge toddlers and it’s usually that.
Who in this world is super smiley all day everyday kind of happy? But yes, Louis is as close to everyday kind of happy that he’s ever been ❤
So Louis’ emotional connection to Lestat, and the fact that it wasn’t really visible in IWTV.
The really short answer is that I believe in Louis’ love for Lestat so much that I can’t quite pinpoint the evidence for it! I think it’s from reading further books and seeing Louis from other ppls’ POV, who can describe his love better than he might be able to admit.
“Louis, the watcher, the patient one, was there on account of love pure and simple. The two had found each other only last night, and theirs had been an extraordinary reunion. Louis would go where Lestat led him. Louis would perish if Lestat perished.” – Khayman, Queen of the Damned.

These are actually pretty appropriate here:

So, yes, I think you’re somewhat right when you say that in book!IWTV and movie!IWTV, it seems like the only feelings Louis has for Lestat are:
Louis is baffled by a lot of the things Lestat does in IWTV, he disagrees with Lestat’s philosophy (which is unclear in IWTV in both versions), and until Claudia rebels against their maker, Louis stays with Lestat because YES, he is still fascinated with him, he doesn’t know of any other vampires, and he’s sure he can pull more of the mysteries of life out of Lestat about vampiring, and his place in the scheme of things (whether vampires work for God or Satan is a big question).

^At the end of IWTV, Louis does meet up with a very incapacitated Lestat. Lestat says in the next book that this scene never happened.
Whether they met like this or not, Louis clearly is “empty” at the end of IWTV, and he wants to find Lestat, but how’s he going to do that? Check the Yellow Pages? It would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
IWTV is like a Batsignal from Louis to Lestat to call him out of wherever he’s hiding. Some of the story is embellished (or maybe even invented) to paint Lestat as a bizarre antagonist. This is all to get him ANGRY ENOUGH to rise up out of hiding and FIND LOUIS. Whether to retaliate physically, and finally end Louis’ misery, or correct the record by putting out HIS side of the story, and everything he couldn’t tell Louis during IWTV.
